The jury's out for me on the new Metallica, until I hear the album as a whole. Really hope it's not their typical stuff from the last 25+ years (just my opinion). If you want to hear a song that I'm pretty sure life forms from other planets can hear, mixed with 1000% Plutonium, and make caffeine obsolete, try the audio track Soldier Stands Solitarily ua-cam.com/video/kxtOtFyuzpU/v-deo.html. It's the last track off of Lovebites' new album Judgement Day which was released last week. The comeback album is terrific being a good mix of power, thrash, and speed metal. But this last song, this last song is its own genre and is an absolute disruptor in heavy metal. Talk about ushering in a new era of heavy metal, but that's LOVEBITES for you. Enjoy! 🤘 Congrats on the expected addition to the family! if you're a guitar fan...OMFG...you will love LOVEBITES. Midori and Miyako (dual leads) make everyone else in the genre look like they're playing Michael Row The Boat. 😃🤣 And wait till you see them live, HOLY F SH*T!!
Thanks for the kind words! I hear you about the last 25+ years. After the 90s when they went softer, I started gravitating to more extreme genres of metal. I still haven't forgotten my roots though! And you weren't lying, those dudes can shred!
@Jason Tountas They are women, all female band! 🤣 Do a reaction to this MV and your channel will implode. Lovebites Stand And Deliver ua-cam.com/video/4ImGA7cPyrs/v-deo.html. 🤘
I'm not all for long intros... but sometimes the song just flows. This was good. To want a shorter intro "just because".... pretty weak. Should every song be 3 min a well. This could have been a 4 min intro and I'd be fine. I didn't like the guitar solo. Others do. Let it be.
You couldn't even bother to make it through the 7 min video without skipping. And then make metal comments based on their style? Isn't heavy metal dark and messy? Why is your home clean and white? Talk about random and showing you aren't used to reviews.
This video was about my initial perspective and reaction to the song/video, not about what anyone else thinks. Maybe you should make your own video and give it a review?
There's no fire behind any of these new songs. And it all just sounds like a half-hearted rehashing of older riffs & solos, chopped up, copied and pasted. I had hopes for them after Hardwired but it seems they've finally just given up. There's really no reason to listen to any of what they're doing outside of curiosity or some weird loyalty thing.
Interesting that you say that because since I posted the video, and heard the song a few more times, I’ve really come to the conclusion that there’s just more interesting things to listen to rather than 2023 Metallica. Like last night for example, I decided to look up Dominator’s current bands…and MAN am I glad I did! Stuff gave me the chills listening to it.
Those are dudes that are 60 something years old.not even 20 years can do.and for everyone to be reacting and have an opinion ,that means something.I’ll bet any new metal band doesn’t have the views and fame they have.
@@richardsolorzano258 there is ALOT of metal bands out there yet in their 60s and still killing it, Metallica just plainly out right sucks monkey balls after Justice, I wouldn't even consider them metal, they're rock anymore. They should all retire the name Metallica since they tring to be heavy and can't, let them do their solo albums and Hetfield can finally write his country album.
such a powerful and real groovy song
If you want to react to a song you might not have heard of, I recommend the artist Aesthetic Perfection with their song Gods & Gold
Thanks for the suggestion!
