I love when Dan comes forward to Lucas and Nathan and tells them how sorry he really is how much he failed to be their father I love that It's the real Dan Scott Appears the real himself the one he has kept in side of him until now In the end he really truly changed and became the good father he was always meant to be for Lucas and Nathan but it was a little bit sad it took him so long to realising that and when he did realised that it was a little bit late because he was dying but I’m glad he got redemption with his son Nathan and was reunited with his brother Keith in the ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i never noticed before but this kinda foreshadows dan's death scene - with keith 'visiting' him in the hospital.
When he mention uncle Keith I boiled my eyes out and crying 😭 I wish that would had been so amazing if that only happened!!!!!!!!!!
