This shelter has been MISMANAGED FOR DECADES. This building was NOT supposed to be used as an animal shelter when the new shelter was built. Unfortunately, as usually happens the county commission approved the building of a SMALLER CAPACITY shelter to replace this old shelter. And now what they are doing is basically HIDING animals under INHUMANE CONDITIONS that has been supported by the Commission in which the public is NOT ALLOWED to have contact with these animals so the public & rescues have virtually no access to see or even save these animals & its a MORAL DISGRACE.
