Most of those who compete on the show are C-list artists, so they probably gravitate toward lesser known artists in their guesses. So it was a big shock to them that a big star was on the show.
The only reason I didn't realize it was him was because the past seasons (and even future ones afterwards) gave me the impression that someone like lil Wayne would never show up on this show. So guessing him was never an option.
I think just about all of them have worked with him in the past. Also they thought he was hiding his voice to be a robot but he really just sounds like that

Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, Whiz Khalifa, Busta Rhymes, And recently Tyga. Even getting a basketball player like Lonzo Ball who raps too. I never miss a rapper once. I definitely study my vibes on rappers. It’s just amazing they couldn’t figure out Lil Wayne, or recently Tyga but can get Bow Wow, Busta Rhymes And Whiz Khalifa. Cmon judges. CRAZY 😜.
This alone lets me know this show is BS. Not possible none of them picked up Wayne's voice. No one else in the world has it. It was a dead giveaway after three words.
I bet no one even caught the hint he said its for the kids basically let's love and stop killing each other and how we got to stick together smh but I bet yall didn't peep because too much into watching lil wayne besides actually listening.....btw he got the least because it's positive energy but peep what he said nd he even called the real from the fake like "oh I thought yall was playing but yall serious" on some I talk to yall type... but he played it smoother than record 💯
