Hi Nick & Leigh Nick I totally feel your pain re the snoring! My husband can be that bad that not only do I need ear plugs but sometimes have to sleep with a pair of ear defenders on as well just to block the noise from his snoring!!,🤣😂🙈
Van Water Pump: If the Cambelt has to come off at this time it might be worth considering replacing that at the same time. Cambelts keep the piston stroke and head valves in sync; when they fail substantial damage can be done to the engine. Check with your make and model handbook on replacement schedule and if you do not know when it was last replaced do it now and then you know. A quick scan of the web talks about 5 - 8 years or 120,000 miles and as you are planning to tour UK and Europe it would be worth getting done and "run in" while in the UK.
I hope one of those sets of curtains turns out to be perfect, so you don’t have to worry about that anymore. And a new angle to vlog from gives us a new way to look at the Lodge!
My husband would probably be able to identify what the ticking noise is. I have seen pictures of the insides of lorries when he has to take the dash apart to fix an electrical problem. He also has a large tool box full of every automotive tool imaginable from the tiniest spanner to a very large heavy one plus every size of socket 😂
I understand the need for better locks on vans as the manufacturers are so poor but if you lock them whilst sleeping in it, I would be super concerned from a safety (not security) point of view - how do you get out quickly if you need to?
The lodge do massive portions and it's very reasonably priced. Theres a nice new cafe near the precinct shopping centre, if you come out the forum and go to the crossing it's just at the other side- def worth a visit ❤
A curtain might look nice but the van isn't the lodge or apartment. Why not cut the curtain into a big enough rectangle and attach it over the window using poppers or Velcro. On the move just snap off and store it away. Will give you extra space instead of a bulky curtain. Enjoying the van vlogs very much

23:17 hi guys, great vlog. Can’t wait to get back to Bridlington in spring when it’s a bit warmer . Is the van on a timer/cam belt or chain. Just I had a vw transporter years ago and water pump seized which took cam belt off and caused a hefty repair bill for the engine to be rebuilt.
Hope you guy's don't catch a cold,make sure you have plenty lemsips,just in case😮holy moly those wraps look good,my kinda food.Masha and Monkey are very lucky to have uncle's like you,Leigh the corner table looks perfect and the table in the hall.If I walked into IKEA and saw both of you doing that with the curtains, I'd be like are they right in the head😂funny though.Do you ever get a chance to do nothing, always busy bee's take care guy's ❤Xx

yes both are going to be done even though the cambelt wed done less than 10000 miles ago

I’m presuming they can only be dead locked from the outside meaning 1 door wouldn’t be dead locked if they inside 😊

the dead locks are for when the van is left unattended, if we are using it they won't be dead locked only central locking

it's a belt and has already been replaced but the pump is seeping fluid so might have damaged the belt so both have to be done again
