Months ago my friend showed me his 3DS and he said he couldn’t beat the disco ball boss… I impressed him by defeating the boss on first try and finishing the extra stage on first try too. His best score on stage 1 was around 15000 and I made a score of around 140000 which was almost 10 times better. On my DS, I managed to get the perfect scores on stages 1 and 2 which are 188850 for stage 1 and 221600 for stage 2. And even got a score of 501860 on bonus stage. I consider myself as an expert of this game and I thought about recreating it in Unreal Engine to play it in 60 fps. Face Raiders runs at 60 fps but is capped at 30 fps. I found that by importing some animations of the face model on blender and it is in 60 fps.

I remember in 2014-16, my Grandma would take me to church with her, and I would always bring my 2DS. I have so many memories of Luigi's Mansion dark moon, Mario Party DS and that stupid piranah plant boss, Face Raiders, Find Mii, and so many more. The DS days where the golden days.

fun fact, but the music for the first phase of the final boss reuses some of Drawcia's theme from kirby canvas curse. I think the games have the same composer, but I might be wrong on that part. I know HAL did help make face raiders though.
Absolutely false, there are almost no similarities with the track. It's just in the same style of baroque-like organ piece. Face Raiders pulled it off much better. It's not the same composer, it's the legendary Melee and Mother 3 composer Shogo Sakai.

When you're on low health, I think, the final boss throws unavoidable stars to prevent a comeback from happening. You pretty much did it all without taking a hit, which is impressive! Jonathan couldn't even beat the first phase!
Ngl I forgot about this game after discovering other ones but I won’t lie this was a CLASSIC when I still played on my 3Ds, w game when I was bored and bro that disco ball literally beat me every time for so many attempts it took me multiple days to beat it but then discovering about the extra phase after it got me and I lost it but I did beat it and it is fun

The last boss was really annoying to me since i didnt know where the path of the lazers go but if you look closely you could tell where it would go. Before I couldn't tell but now it seems so easy than before.

Disco ball's first phase is actually relatively easy once you know that the laser will always go in the opposite direction of Disco ball's rotation.
