Tim Duncan with 25 points, 17 rebounds in the win. After the game one loss, Coach Pop called out the Spurs to play "way way better", and they did. The Spurs led from start to finish. Duncan had his way with every defender the Mavs put in front of him.
July 11th, 2016 marked Tim Duncan announcing his retirement. It is unfathomable for me that I won't see this man play next season. I grew up with Duncan, I was only a first grader when Duncan was drafted. He is the best power forward in the history of the game. I don't think his longevity and skill will ever be duplicated. Thank you Tim Duncan! It was a privilege to watch you play.
