    Thank you.. This is how my garden bed looks. Misc weeds tall & short and little bushes.. I basically cleared away a lot of the tall stuff by hand.. Just by watching, you answered my question. I am going have to continue to pull up the smaller ones by hand because, I can't afford to pay anyone and I want my garden bed to look nice.. Who ever lived in my house prior to me buying it 3 years ago laid down a landscaping fabric and it looks horrible. I am going to have to find a way to chop and get that up by hand.. I'm in agreement with my fellow Mn here.. To many of those little creeping Charlies..

    MN Weed update....OK, I sat for a weekend and pulled darn weeds out of my two light posts areas FULL OF WEEDS. There is rock there and landscaping fabric that helped for one year. SO, I weeded, and used weed and grass killer for little stuff I couldn't get and then I am laying down PREEN. I'll update if it works. I tried all natural ways of boiling water to vinegar to salt water. Weeds in MN are bad, especially creeping charlie and dandelions... So I'm learning so much from this channel and your followers are so nice and helpful. So CHEERS TO OUR SUMMER GARDENS!

  • @MsStuff00
    @MsStuff00 4 роки тому +1

    So satisfying😎 you can also mulch the area with 3-4 inches of compost mulch blend to prevent weeds from returning. I used to have the same problem. After I mulched area now I only have to back fill about a inch every other year. The soil is rich with earthworms!! like black gold 😎🌺🌿🌻🌼hope this helps. Hope all is well love😘

The pollen ran me inside, so hopefully I can finish this weekend. I think I will mulch better this fall to prevent this for next year. Your bed look great. Good job!

    OMG, My heart sank when I saw this.......It's my front area where you come up driveway and we have a light posts, one on each side of driveway, it never looks good because weeds mostly dandelions take it over every year..I pull every day- they come back....Ready to salt the whole area and kill it all LOL...There are on each side......2 shrubs and cone flowers, but you'd never know. There are HUGE Dandelions (The super prickly ones) grown up about 2 feet tall and weeds have over taken it. I don't even know where to START? I can't feed the plants or weeds take over, so I'm a new fan of your channel.... I am hoping I can get a handle on it. I've been gardening about 5 years and Do a lot with Geraniums and Vista Supertunias, because they grow well in pots and planters. SO ok.....Before I lose my mind.....I'd love weed control help. We planted that area with Weed fabric and then rock....It's FULL OF WEEDS. so any help appreciated. Your channel is amazing! Great to meet you, Janine in Minnesota

      Don't know where you live but many plants are low maintenance like succulents and even some flowers. If you get a lot of sun in one area, why not that? Do what's best for yourself and your yard though ✌️

    This is the reason why I put regular much down. I don't want to weed these areas. Besides it really does look nice when you do. That job is horrendous.
