Where did you connect the extra red and black cable to from the back of the switch ?
Black one you need to ground and red is Dash light - find one wire from the other stock switches that has the dash light and attach it and your switch will illuminate at night.

How did you hide the cables on the roof?
I cable tied it under the vortex bar behind the light bar so it can’t be seen from the front.
