I was there and thought he might of started with a cover of " Who'll Stop The Rain" by Creedence Clearwater Revival, but he opened with that in Cork so maybe he didn't want to repeat it.
@johnvanreijn3591 I was standing too in the front section, I was soaking wet before i even got to the stadium so it never really bothered me, in a funny way i think the rain created a better atmosphere and it inspired Bruce and the band to play even better than normal, they really pulled out all the stops and it must of took it's toll on him because he's cancelled his next few gigs.
Totally agree, I thought Bruce and the band rocked harder because of the atrocious weather. I was at this gig and Murrayfield last year and even though I got soaked, I loved this one more. What an opener.
Waitin on a sunny day e' puro sentimento❤❤❤
What a great song to open the set !
I’m sure he must have altered the song list for that 😅 ‘It’s raining…’ 😊
@@Observeandlearn994 There was a sign in the crowd requesting the song given the weather and Bruce played it ! Legend 😊
Hadn't played it for 7 years live. We got soaked wet through but if I'd left after that I'd have felt I got my moneys worth (I didnt)
Played it as the concert opener at Hampden Park, Scotland in 2016. It was a boiling hot day that day
Fatastic night, 3hrs of non stop Bruce!!
Best night ever, loved every second of it ❤❤❤
Chaque soir de concert,c est 3 heures au paradis merci❤❤❤🎉🎉❤❤❤

@@ethwhite I was 1ft to your left all gig!
I don’t think he could of opened the show with any other song judging by the conditions, thanks for the video
