This car is more crazier, than Sien, cuz it has MORE power (1000hp) and Naturally Aspirated 13.6L V16! And 4 doors! After this car only Bugatti recently tried to built V16 engine. It has same power as Cadillac did, but less displacement (8.3l).

This run reminds me of MC2 a bit. Where a number of the slower cars, especially the Jersey XS, are still very competitive with the the later rivals in that game.
There is someone who won ALL of Savo's races in Jersey XS without fishtailing, so yes beating MC2 in LA cars only without fishtailing is POSSIBLE. I might do a video covering it, but i am currently struggling with 2nd and 4th Savo Event with the Jersey.
gotta say, coming back to MC2 and beating Savo with the Bestia (muscle car with the big ass engine) on the track that most troubled me as a kid was amazing, MC2 is so chaotic and sometimes felt like a roguelike with cursed and god runs

You laugh at the CTS-V being a Cadillac but what's surprising is that... It's actually a great performance car that rivals the Corvette and even shocks Europeans. When Cadillac launched the CTS in 2002, everyone thought "Oh. It's just another budget land barge from Cadillac" but then, Cadillac, one company that had the stigma of just fueling old guys and Italian mobsters with their cars, suddenly wanted to appeal to younger users started to stuff the high-powered LS2 engine into the chassis and turned it into the CTS-V. Not only that, Cadillac suddenly thought "Screw it. Let's take it racing" and, they did. They stuffed the CTS-V into the GT3 category and entered into the SCCA World Series which it won 4 or 5 championships in total. It was such a good car that it went head to head with the likes of the E39 and E60 M5 and came out on top or at least was on par with them and the same goes to the W203 C63 AMG. Everything the Germans that were masters at making super saloons tossed at the Cadillac, it ate and spat them all out ngawed to bits and it even at one point took the fastest saloon title on the Nurburgring which was a title that was thought to only be held by European cars, not a barge from the US but the CTS-V proved them wrong.

I really admire your tenacity with these sorts of challenges, it always surprises me just how hard it gets as you progress but you're pretty good yourself being able to accomplish something like this. Actually if you use faster cars they rubber band but if you use a shit box they go slow, I tried playing the whole thing with an is300 against the F1 and you can actually win

Funny enough, there is no rubberbanding in the game. Rival AI only gets perf boost whenever you upgrade your car. Biggest problem only can be if facing fastest A class cars in a really shitty C class car.
As a speedrunner for this game, in manual and if your a great driver you can easily take the CTS V all the way through the whole game. The CTS V and the Magnum is the best D class vehicles and are super OP Online. Just wanted to give my information as an experienced driver in this game, people who play this game day in and day out been took the CTS V to the end game 😂
I remember very vividly my 1964 Impala, with primer gray paint and huge rear tires, trying to do a torque wheelie as it launched... it got me through most of the game, being replaced by a 2nd-gen Camaro in the very late game, in Detroit. For the Tokyo Challenge, I primarily used an El Camino and a DeVille.
This game is so nostalgic but no game has ever given me so much rage as a child. Really hesitant to pick it up again😂 Props to you for doing these challenges
We need a muscle car run! Swap out cars between every few races. Also fully lost it with "here's my new trick called ballistic Cadillac" wasn't ready for that one lol
i look into seeing you complete a no-hit run of this game :3 i have suggestions for some rules below the read more: rules draft: - "collision" counts as either any crash which will cause the damage gauge to go up, or any collision that will visually present a yellow spark around the car, except for sparks coming from directly below the wheels (exception for things such as long distance landings). the implication is that you also have to avoid debris, as those will also cause the sparks. - save states are to be made before each rival. a collision happening should prompt you to go back to the first race of the rival. - to avoid you from just picking a slow car to lower the difficulty: whenever there is an option to have a better rating for the car, you have to take it and drive faster cars. the option would be if you went on playing the game using the Bel-Air all the way through, that car has the worst handling. - if you want, you could extend the collision rule to also include the challenge of avoiding collisions at the finishing breaks where it is most prone to collisions.
I remember asking someone who knows more about this game and it's code than me and he said that CTS-V is unironically one of the best cars in the game and it is up to maybe tier A
The jet engine car at the end of MC2 was amazing though. Also, you could enter cheats to have bullets and rockets, and blow up cars with a friend in two player mode. I really wish that made a comeback in MC3.
The cops in Midnight Club 3 were absolutely psychotic. But at least they only posed as an annoyance. They would never arrest you, just bulldoze you like a cat playing with yarn.
Too bad that the Tokyo Challenge is impossible since you need to take certain class. But eh, perhaps doing the Championships of D Class, Tuners, Muscles, SUVs, and Luxuries Classes in Tokyo will do.
We need a remaster immediately if they can do a definitive edition of the the gta 3/Vice city and 3 they can do it for for midnight club 1,2,and 3 and potentially L.A
Also i dont know if this is a fact, but i always heard that the ai aggression and rubber banding increases with the class of car you buy, like buying a class A will cause things to just get terrible for you
Bro, a CTS-V can theoretically be as fast as you want it irl. I swear if you put two giant turbos on that LS V8 engine and give it the right cam, crank, rods, pistons, lifters, heads, etc. you can literally get 1,000+ HP to the crank if not wheels
Great job dude. See if you can complete the entire game with the Hummer H1 in D Class. Either you'll have to money grind or cheat money in because its around 100k but it is unlocked from the start. Slowest D Class I do believe as well. Good luck!

@@fanoftheclassics5720 The XLR in LA is different from the one in 3, 3 has the base model with an NA engine and ~300hp while LA has the Supercharged XLR-V with 440hp stock. Also the class system works a bit different in LA, cars a not only divided by performance class but also by groups. Iirc when you upgrade cars they can move up into higher performance classes.

I did a run on MC2 using the 1st car (Cocotte) and managed to get to Japan in it but gave up since Haley’s unordered race was CBT for the Cocotte.

I once finished the game in a 350Z. From then, i found out the entire game is not about being fast at all (because of the insane rubber banding)
