The football fans. If you notice, giggs emphasised on neville being tough in TRAINING. He was pure shit. Lucky that the right back position was a weak point for both england and man utd...and football in general at the time

the really excitimg thing about being a current united fan is that the team we have now could probably give this team a run for its money. we would probably lose, but not many teams could say they could match that with zlatan, pogba, de gea etc.
So 433 when Ronaldo was playing as a striker, (although a natural winger/ attacking left side player) but when playing away from home play with 442 with a more solid four in the middle.
Rooney was a promising young talent under SAF and he's been performing greatly back then. But he got worse later and haven't delivered much clinical scoring... I think its a problem of his attitude on the pitch as well as his declining physical performance.
People are hating because Van Persie came in, and Rooney is no longer playing in his #1 striker position. Sir Alex has played him as a CAM, and people know Rooney as a goal scorer, so when he's not scoring, people think he's not playing well... In the most recent season, Rooney's primary role has not been to score goals... still he's been a machine on the pitch in midfield and given his role, still scored 12 goals, and 10 assists.
Min Kyu Kim nah man Rooney had some terrible commitment issues with utd, twice to my memory he wanted to leave over money, shows a lack of loyalty really considering his up and down performances. Don't get me wrong Rooney overall did some great things in his time at utd, I didn't or don't like at times that he is the center of criticism when the team looses but I must say he had a good 3 years out of his 10... when he matured his aggression changed and in my opinion his overall game changed. Ruud spent 5 years at utd with a seriously impressive goal ratio, as a goalscorer in the 10 position ruud was very reliable, to score goals and lots of them....especially with becks out on the right. I'm not hating on rooney he was a fabulous player and has such a great footballing brain, but it's nearly like 530 odd appearances for utd and he still hasn't hit 250 goals. I say that like it ain't something although it will be a great achievement, no doubt he will get there before he departs from trafford but ruuds 219 appearances 150 goals which means if you take it he got to 440 appearances he'd most likely be on 300 and u might say that he wouldn't but considering he went to madrid after and scored 33 goals and then the following season 22 his level never declined, always scoring.
Charles Ainscough yeah but point being rooney was never ever a pocher. Remember rooney is second in all time premier league assists and goals. Rooney in his prime was twice the player Ruud was and everyone who dosen't only look at stats when they watch football knows this. There are so many attributes that rooney in is prime had that RVN never had, too many for me to be botherd to name them.
Charles Ainscough Rooney is better than him at Dribbling shooting passing speed better teammate van nistolroy is nothing but a poacher and selfish player
Honestly Giggsy is just being diplomatic here, doesn't want to hurt his fellow players feelings etc., but his actual picks are indeed his first and only picks, without hesitation.
So tough to leave him out, he was prolific. Scored goals for fun. While we're at it, leaving out the Yorke & Cole duo is tough. I wish he was allowed a choice for supersub, he could've picked Solskjaer, or maybe Chicharito. Baby-faced assassins both.
Great team, my biased one would be Stam for Ferdinand, flood the midfield with another winger in Kanchelskis, Ronaldo can play where he wants, Van Nistelrooy for Rooney and rotate Vidic with Cantona periodically so 4-4-1-1 or 3-4-1-2 based on the opponents ⚽
Van Nistelrooy wasn't that good. He scored lame penalties and keep asking for the ball. An extremely SELFISH player who contributed little in teamplay. In 5 seasons for manutd, he only won one league title and did not win the champ league. After he left, Manutd immediately won the league title.
shemeichal....neville...japp stam...ferdinand...evra...beckham..roy keane...scholes...ronaldo....rooney...yorke...........this a DREAM team of man united
Lforleeeeeex's funland - Falcao scored 52 goals in 1 season for Atletico, but during his season at United he scored 4 - Anderson never won the Ballon d'Or - Di Maria, despite being a good player, had a terrible season at United - Fellaini is shit
Utd always always had the best wingers! esp on the right.. Best, Kanchelskis, Beckham and then Ronaldo. Giggs ofc on the Left but i loved Sharpe too. Fantastic players every single one of them! Colonel Kurtz - Liverpool fan
4-3-3 Attack: GK: Van Der Saar LB/RB: Gary Neville and Phil Neville CB: Vidic and Ferdinand CM: Keane and Scholes CAM: David Beckham LW/RW: George Best and Giggs ST: Ronaldo
Sam Ramsden First off, this is my opinion so fuck off. Second, I put in Phil because he's one of my favorite full backs United's had. Third, obviously Best and Phil never played together, this is my Utd dream team, so this is a lineup of my favorite Utd players.
Bob Miter Van Nistelrooy was a better striker, and thats the position hes playing. Who cares if Rooney can pick a long ball and track back if hes playing up front?
MajesticClangers Fair enough, in that sense, VN is the better striker, but wayne is the better player and those qualities you mentioned do matter even if they don't contribute to being a 'striker'
MajesticClangers But you don’t need an out and out striker when you have ronaldo and Rooney would get you enough goals whilst adding a different play style and be more diverse
Arunisrelativelycool i turned 67 on the 4th of this month. Watched the great Edwards dozens of times from the Stretford End as a child. Don't assume you know everything.
His starting 11 is pretty spot on. Only positions where I could argue is upfront. Difficult to choose from Cantona, Rooney and Van Nistelrooy. I've never seen Bobby Charlton or George Best so can't speak about them. Premier league era onwards, I think Giggsy chose the best team. As I said, only possible change would be swapping one striker for RVN.
+zeshan malik Then you are sadly mistaken, Giggs created more than twice as many goals as any other Premier League player and is ideal to fill the left side.
@@mizofan Fairytales. Beckham was by far the most important player during his time at United. I watched every single game in the 90's and early 00. Almost every assist came from the right side, he was a key player. Giggs was overrated as fuck.

No player in this fuckin legue would get into that team, let alone any United player right now.
So 433 when Ronaldo was playing as a striker, (although a natural winger/ attacking left side player) but when playing away from home play with 442 with a more solid four in the middle.
cantona and rudd van nistolroy up frount
U forgot what Rooney have done for ur club
Rooney was a promising young talent under SAF and he's been performing greatly back then. But he got worse later and haven't delivered much clinical scoring... I think its a problem of his attitude on the pitch as well as his declining physical performance.
People are hating because Van Persie came in, and Rooney is no longer playing in his #1 striker position.
Sir Alex has played him as a CAM, and people know Rooney as a goal scorer, so when he's not scoring, people think he's not playing well...
In the most recent season, Rooney's primary role has not been to score goals... still he's been a machine on the pitch in midfield and given his role, still scored 12 goals, and 10 assists.
personally I'd just change rooney for van nistelrooy more goals and consistency.
Rooney was unstoppable at his peak, he was on par or even better than van Nistelrooy, depending on your point of view of course.
This is Thursday Gaming nah rooney was better than both
Charles Ainscough Rooney is better than him at Dribbling shooting passing speed better teammate van nistolroy is nothing but a poacher and selfish player
I couldn't agree more with his choices! Beckham and Van Nistelrooy on bench or starting.
No Vanistelrooy?
Honestly Giggsy is just being diplomatic here, doesn't want to hurt his fellow players feelings etc., but his actual picks are indeed his first and only picks, without hesitation.
No Howard Webb ?
@@AbdulMomin-ef3qo Afther 5 years. Great comeback..
Iv only seen it yesterday, but yeah, you're wellcome..
Wasn't he the top scorer for twenty Premierships ??
andy cole is the third leading scorer in the epl and i have yet to see someone pick him in their all time 11 even at united

So tough to leave him out, he was prolific. Scored goals for fun. While we're at it, leaving out the Yorke & Cole duo is tough. I wish he was allowed a choice for supersub, he could've picked Solskjaer, or maybe Chicharito. Baby-faced assassins both.
"Roy Keane and Paul Scholes" DUH
He could've picked Veron tbf
@@ottson how? He was there 2 years and couldn't get his place over either.
@@barryb90 Because Scholes could play second striker
@@ottson veron?? guy was hardly effective in ManU
Great team, my biased one would be Stam for Ferdinand, flood the midfield with another winger in Kanchelskis, Ronaldo can play where he wants, Van Nistelrooy for Rooney and rotate Vidic with Cantona periodically so 4-4-1-1 or 3-4-1-2 based on the opponents ⚽
van nistelrooy and best were both left out
He didn't play with George Best
how could he play with Best you numpty
+James Murray he played with van nistelroy
it were only XI not all of them
Van Nistelrooy wasn't that good. He scored lame penalties and keep asking for the ball. An extremely SELFISH player who contributed little in teamplay. In 5 seasons for manutd, he only won one league title and did not win the champ league. After he left, Manutd immediately won the league title.
To be fair beckham was pretty good in providing assists as well as free kicks
David Beckham??
And Ronaldo up top
shemeichal....neville...japp stam...ferdinand...evra...beckham..roy keane...scholes...ronaldo....rooney...yorke...........this a DREAM team of man united
Fuck i was gonna do a video on a my topx11 united team. I had pretty much the EXACT team as giggsy,
Sayyxd1 yeah we all believe you

I'd pick Ronaldo as LW and Beckham as RW instead of putting myself on the team!
Giggs was right to pick himself- he's the obvious choice and false modesty is a fault. But I wouldn't pick myself either.
mizofan He's the obvious choice but a bit shyness don't hurt no one. I highly appreciate everything he's done for my club!

Man U are a brand, not a football team ...
Gar Sm no they arent
Well, they have a team, but the team is a small part of the business. Just look at the figures ...
Utd always always had the best wingers! esp on the right.. Best, Kanchelskis, Beckham and then Ronaldo. Giggs ofc on the Left but i loved Sharpe too. Fantastic players every single one of them!

Phil was average and he never played with best you paigon
Sam Ramsden First off, this is my opinion so fuck off. Second, I put in Phil because he's one of my favorite full backs United's had. Third, obviously Best and Phil never played together, this is my Utd dream team, so this is a lineup of my favorite Utd players.
+VulcanGaming then you're an idiot for not having law, Charlton or stam
+Sam Ramsden and irwin
Yep, this is spot on. Bruce and Pallister together were amazing, but would need both in. On their own, they are not as good as Giggs' choices.
no de gea, carrick, pogba or zlatan...
but Wayne Rooney...
please Jose, watch this video and bring our Capt back!!!
#quinn mary Yes!
#quinn mary Pogba sobrevalorado
Giiiiggggggzeeeeeer!
Where is Beckham😩😩😩😩
In PSG.
He was in man united too
Yes. Giggs didn't name Berbetov or many orhers who should be on there.
Manohar Rajan But Beckham is Beckham. Berbatov is not even close to Beckham. Talking about impact
Giggs was mad he got dropped by Marseilles for Joey Barton, so he hates league 1. Beckham is in league 1... yeah, couldn't think of a better reason.

ROONEY,(van Persie) Cantona
Van Nistelrooy should have been in over Rooney. People forget how good Van Nistelrooy actually was.
Rooney was a better all around player
Bob Miter Van Nistelrooy was a better striker, and thats the position hes playing. Who cares if Rooney can pick a long ball and track back if hes playing up front?
MajesticClangers Fair enough, in that sense, VN is the better striker, but wayne is the better player and those qualities you mentioned do matter even if they don't contribute to being a 'striker'
Bob Miter Nah, RVN is underrated. His finishing skills is better and his footwork is underrated because he don't have to dribble to tear the net.
MajesticClangers But you don’t need an out and out striker when you have ronaldo and Rooney would get you enough goals whilst adding a different play style and be more diverse
Good choice on players!
Schmeichel

+remi moses No Bobbi Charlton?
wouter van rijs Positionally i can't take out Scholes for Charlton.
+remi moses As if you watched Edwards play lol
Arunisrelativelycool i turned 67 on the 4th of this month. Watched the great Edwards dozens of times from the Stretford End as a child. Don't assume you know everything.
His starting 11 is pretty spot on. Only positions where I could argue is upfront. Difficult to choose from Cantona, Rooney and Van Nistelrooy. I've never seen Bobby Charlton or George Best so can't speak about them. Premier league era onwards, I think Giggsy chose the best team. As I said, only possible change would be swapping one striker for RVN.
How on earth did he forget Beckham???
Ronaldo made him forget
+zeshan malik Then you are sadly mistaken, Giggs created more than twice as many goals as any other Premier League player and is ideal to fill the left side.
@@mizofan Fairytales. Beckham was by far the most important player during his time at United. I watched every single game in the 90's and early 00. Almost every assist came from the right side, he was a key player. Giggs was overrated as fuck.
