Really beautiful! You seem to have such control over every step. I think the freezer paper made a real difference in the outside texture, I'll be sure to do that the next time I feel like trying this technique again :)
Before you began making the outer layer, I thought the it would be done using a mold like the Pringles can, with a smaller can shaped liner inside. And then you would fill the center with the white, remove the liner between the layers and dry. I wonder if this could work. Could be difficult to pour soap in such a narrow area, but could be worth a shot to cut out some steps! I've also never made soap, but that's what I thought was going to happen. Cool to see it a different way than expected!
This video is a joy to watch. Informative, inspiring, and brilliant choice for music! That allowed me to really be able to focus on the beautiful work you did!
Wow. Im usually not doing this but I have to leave a comment here. This soap looks amazing. Really beautiful and "clean" i love it! I have done soap an i will do soap in a few minutes, but this is another level. You got a new subscriber! Keep it up! Greetings from Germany.
PERFECT !! Well done. Thank you so much for sharing how you cut the soap for the rim. I have been racking my brain on how I could do this without getting a special cutter or building one. Great ideal. Guess what I am going to try today. ;-) They turned out beautiful !
Not sure why this was recommended but had to find out how you made these cool looking soaps. Maybe I will get my soap making books off the self and give this a try.
Thank you so very much for your Tutorial, it gives me confidence to try this Technique, I bought a container of Pringles especially :) your soap is so beautiful x
Beautiful! I use Pringle cans quite often for soap making. I can't wait to try this. I don't sell soap, I give it to charities. It's NY expensive hobby I'm addicted to. Thank you for sharing this idea and tenique. ❤😁
hi thank-you for the video your soap is beautiful! would you mind sharing where you got the soap box with the slicer so you could cut the soap thin like that? thank-you.
Thank you! I made the slicer using thin guitar wire and 2 wine corks. Our instructor in the Soap Challenge showed us how to make the slicer. It's in a video tutorial that I listed in the description box (Great Cakes Soap Challenge tutorials). The soap box is just my slab mold...I use odds and ends to raise the soap up to the correct height and then use a 1/4" thick piece of cardboard to make sure my slices are the same thickness. Thanks for asking! :)
This is my life now.. I just watch people make soap.
