I think he can still sing pretty well here and there. Just not on a tour and we already know he has struggled with hitting the ceiling notes. Hope this is the case anyway.
He is my “ride or die Rocker”……I’m 59…been on the Aerosmith/Steven Tyler train since 1977 when my older brother would blast Aerosmith on his record player in his bedroom. 💜💜💜
He is the sexiest 76 yr old man that walked this earth. Even at his age he still sounds better than many "singers" today who can't sing live. Respect to him.
Wow Tyler 76 years young pushing 80 and still got it Not many young rockers can keep up with his pace a inspiration to all showing us what old age could be .
Don't say that to Kiss Fan!! I got in a text battle with a diehard Kiss fan trying to convince me that Paul's voice is just as good or ACTUALLY better than Steven's! I'm STILL trying to figure out what that dumba$$ was smoking!
There is a very good vibe in the team, I think Nico brought harmony, warmth as well as being a great guitarist, let's not forget Sven and Erik, non-problematic and confident players.
I've got a big grin on my face, they look like they're having a great time, been a fan of the Crowes since the first album, and Aerosmith since mid 80s.
@@strychnyne3530 Yeah, I heard. I kinda saw it coming, but I feel bad that Aerosmith's touring legacy had to end like this. All that time and effort was put into the farewell tour, only for them to do three dates and that was it.
This is amazing! Everything you have achieved Nico @NicoBereciartua, now playing this classic with Steven Tyler! Mama Kin!!!! Greetings from Hurlingham, Buenos Aires, Argentina!
It was a special night, the Black Crowes are doing their very best to save rock n roll. One of the best gigs I’ve seen in a long time. Nico is a special player, great to see the stars coming out to support them. Robinson brothers in great form. Only downside was the support band, but soon forgot about them.
@@j.reveille6815 You’re right, such an underrated drummer. I really missed his killer fills during Thorn In My Pride, and several other songs. If they could just patch it up with Steve, but keep Nico and the incredibly hot backing singers… perfect band.

Great video of the fantastic finale of a truly unforgettable gig! There was such a good vibe on the stage throughout. Chris and Rich were smiling at each other...! I feel very lucky to have been there.
This was a test drive after his vocal injury and surgery. I've been a fan since the late 70''s and can tell he is unsure of his voice but wanted some real world experience to gage his recovery so far. IMHO he still has a way to go as im hearing a hollow throat rasp throughout - not previously there. This is why they delayed the tour almost a full year. Wishing ST the best!
Ironically hours after I made the above post, it was announced that Aerosmith will no longer tour due to ST's not recovering to the point it needed to be. So sad....
Hey man, eventually you get to the age where things just don't heal properly....along with the strain that singing on tour brings with it. I'm shure we will maybe hear him again at on off events.
@@fredhcoelhohopefully we’ll at least see him up on stage once in a while. Maybe one song? Makes me smile to see him and hear his voice even though it’s not the same
Estou feliz por estar de volta. Mas a voz mudou com a cirurgia. Ele não deu uma nota alta ou um grito, como fez a vida inteira nessa música. Mas estou feliz por vê-lo. Espero pelo meu sexto show na turnê de despedida.
Im going to the gig in Newcastle tonight! Doubt we'll get Mr Tyler or any special guests up here though! I love Aerosmith too n this is my fave tune of theirs... if I'd been there I mightv exploded!! 😆😆
wow! he was so glad that he could sing a bit. He couldn't make all the notes, you can see sometimes he asks for help to the other singer or just let the instruments go on, but he's still good! incredible, for his age, he is really old! and still alive and passionate... love love love
Right with you on that. Going to see them in Cleveland and can’t wait. Was completely at a loss when they cancelled and not knowing his status. Seeing this just made my day 🤘🏼

Steven sounded like he's still recovering but pretty good nonetheless. At the 3:02 mark, you can almost see him thinking about attempting the falsetto scream that normally comes in before the solo but then playing it safe. I'm ok with that, he should take it easy and save his voice for Aerosmith!
@@Nei-mq1go yeah I was sad to hear that yesterday. I respect his decision, as he probably felt he couldn't deliver consistent 2-hour performances over the course of a tour, especially if he had to hold back like he did here.
