So basically if I feel uncomfortable with the Ai and can’t get rid of it, then I would have to delete the entire app, right? I hate to sound like I have been watching too many Oliver Stone movies but…… yeah maybe it’s time to go old school and just get a phone for phone calls. It’s just creepy the way things just “appear”! This is not true. If you try searching for a picture of a "blonde woman" you can select the search button and it will perform the traditional search. However, if you search for "blonde woman on exercise bike" it doesn't matter which search button you select, Meta AI will take over.

Yes you can remove it as simply as deleting the app and reloading it. Meta AI will appear as a contact now not at the bottom of the screen as a search anymore.

Wow, what a waste of time. But it's true: in newer versions of Whatsapp, one can't disable/turn-off/remove Meta AI. So I'm dumping Whatsapp, I'm afraid. Already dumped FB and hated Insta from the get-go.
