"You want my SSR world record? You can have it! I left every tool and prep gathered in one piece. Now you just have to run it!" Curcuit, on the eve of her leave from home
@@CurcuitStore Hi! I just realized that doors and iron bars can be used for setups. I'm worried about increasing your work, but I just want to share it with you :3
good point! I'll definitely look into those, but they'll probably take an extra second to grab so I want to make sure I look for all the easy fast setups first. Which I'm hoping can be at least like 4 seconds faster or even more consistent than this 🤞 and don't worry about me lol, it's mostly just a lot of simulations(decades of endfights...). I just haven't been home since this video to try any ideas yet :)
hey just a theory, if you could oneshot dragon with pearls, then you could just go with a pickaxe to the end and kill the endermen there (and get blocks if needed) (pickaxe to deal more damage to enderman instead of only fist, and pickaxe hardly takes time to get from the chest) might save some time because multitask while waiting for dragon to charge? instead of killing a skeleton for bow + arrow also i don't know anything about the dragon charge setups, but the stronghold has doors and iron bars you could use for additional position alignments btw, maybe a more reliable setup could be found somehow?
unfortunately it's just an arrow thing, as funny as killing the dragon with a single egg would be lol. But yeah there should definitely be most consistent(and faster!) setups out there. I'll definitely check doors and stuff, but they might take an extra second to grab so I'll probably check all the easy positioning stuff first
i want to ask you about a possible strafe setup which would save huge time i think there has to be a strafe setup for cycle phase but there might also be one for the initial strafe if a setup can be found i think it might be able to save 15-20s and 4-7s with cycle phase
I've thought about using strafe for a tas, but I feel like it would be very ugly rta(altho admittedly I'm not sure what cycle/initial strafe refers to). There's just a lot of small differences that would make it hard execution/consistency-wise. If you care about the individual hurdles for brainstorming or stuffs: The strafe phase _is_ very similar to the charge, so in theory a similar setup should exist. But, unlike the charge, a strafing dragon will constantly update its target to ~your position, instead of just once when entering the phase. This means a strafe setup would require you to move almost perfectly tick to tick to get the same path. Additionally, a strafing dragon will immediately route away whenever it gets within 10m of you, instead of waiting a few ticks after like with charging. Naively this makes getting anywhere near the dragon difficult, much less within 0.02m, but maybe there's potential for working with how it targets its next path. There's also the fireballs, which require you to prevent line of sight within 10 degrees and 64m. This is fine on its own, but becomes cumbersome when you consider that your server velocity needs space to shoot out into the void without bonking. Actually shooting the crystal would also probably need to be consistent, and since you don't have the perch to normalize the dragon positions, the "strip of possible dragon positions" would be rather large. Constant control over the target would maybe let you manipulate this, but it'd be tough. That's not to say its impossible, but it'd be a lot to get a setup comparable to this with only my current knowledge(sorry for ted talk).
@@CurcuitStoreinitial strafe refers to the fact that when the dragon starts strafing you it sort of dive bombs you from the air and then the cycle phases are repetitive paths it takes afterwards. initial strafe seems like its consistent based on what blocks you have exposed around you and things like that. but i also dont know as much as you about oneshot so im operating with alot of uncertainty.
ohhh i see. They’re functionally pretty similar, i assume the only difference is the distance between you and the dragon when it starts targeting you. So if you can do it with one, you can probably do it with the other if you line up things correctly. Letting it path around too long will probably perturb the paths beyond anything predictable tho(?) It seems borderline doable, but the details are really rough. Maybe if you could line it up with some nodes, or purposely let it fireball you could get them to converge, but it’d still need a lot of extra help, not mentioning consistency
aiming doesn’t really matter since dragon knockback completely overpowers initial arrow velocity. technically straight up would be the best but it’s like a 1 damage difference on average
def not atm since i’m not home, but i don’t have any real plans to either. i do want to look into tasing the end fight after i work on rta more tho. but tbf it wouldn’t be much more work to do the overworld lol
Crazy how fast we went from a theoretical humanly impossible concept to an actual ssg wr
you did it again curcuit you absolute legend, hanabi just pulled off a 69 second ssg with your setup.
all it took to make it ssg viable was pillaring up 💀
truly needed minecraft’s greatest minds for this one
real run coming soon?????
so true
also congrats on the 69s ssg hanabi

I didn't expect that pearls are not required for easy+
History will change very soon!!!!!!

1.12 is about to be the fastest version 🤨
it already is
it is the best version after all
the speedrunning goat is back LFG
this is a certified wowzers moment
who r u
Six slimy guys💀
Hanabi did it omfg
and all it took was a week 😎 (i’m sure every ssg runner is very pleased with this information)

Hanabi should make a tas!

А зачем надо было ставить землю и верстак, а потом убирать землю?

six slimy guys
not peeing anymore
I think your concept worked
i'm not convinced
Is there a good 1.12 end practice map to practice this?
Not atm afaik, and I'd like to find a better end setup before making anything myself
i tried it by killing skeletons for the bow/arrow and choked sub 1:30 ssg four times
i mean it’s still only like 2% chance to kill dragon assuming perch+perfect inputs, but yeah there’s potential
@@CurcuitStore oh yeah i should ask whats the perfect angle to shoot at
aiming doesn’t really matter since dragon knockback completely overpowers initial arrow velocity. technically straight up would be the best but it’s like a 1 damage difference on average

def not atm since i’m not home, but i don’t have any real plans to either. i do want to look into tasing the end fight after i work on rta more tho. but tbf it wouldn’t be much more work to do the overworld lol
What render distance did you use
10 or 11 iirc, but only because my game lags a bunch at anything higher
please tas this seed with creeper+skeleton for a bow
trust me it’s tempting (besides trying to do the insta-kill without playback)
@@CurcuitStore just splice in the playback section
true this is the tasmod version isn’t it 🤔
its crazy how your subscribers are 699
and I decided to not sub :D
keeping the funny number 🙏🙏🙏🙏
