Long overdue... this video was shot quite a while ago but due to the work on the Deagostini Millennium Falcon put on hold.
I guess part 3 will not take this ind of a long wait...

Check the plans doing the tracks, I know how to do. The longer is going outside opposite how you did it.

The instructions always have some traps on the way that's why is better to check the real pictures.

Was your first Dragon kit? If so, welcome to the club. You have lost your virginity if it was. And, as they said after each episode of the old G.I. Joe cartoon, "knowing is half the battle"

      No, not the first one...
I am not a real fan of this brand of kits...
The next tank-kit will probably be of a different make

When is part 3 coming? I am learning how to do tanks and you explain very well what you are doing.

      Haha... patience!
The project is currently on hold for a few weeks... I just got back from ComicCon where I displayed the Falcon and sold some models, and I am currently (deep)cleaning my workstation.
I am planning to place the Tiger in a diorama.
I promise you i will post a new part within a few weeks...
      thank you!

ohw gosh... this was so long ago.
I mainly use Tamiya colors, and sometimes I mix up my own colors.
I'm sorry, I can not answer this question, its too long ago

haha I'd consider those pictures plenty of information. You can see the tracks are overhanging the drive sprocket & you can see where the drive sprocket holes in the track are. Or just look at a pic of a real one.
You actually mounted the tracks backwards, I'm very surprised you managed to fit them on backwards because on the real one they would be inside the side armour like that. Are the wheels even properly mounted on your model? Isn't the side of the track pushing against the side of the tank?
The only reason the tracks are sticking out on the real tiger tank is so they could put on more narrow transport tracks so make the entire tank more narrow to make it fit on all train routes. They do not swap out drive sprockets or idler wheels when they swap tracks. So all the wheels should be more inside and there should be more track overhang definately.
If they didn't have to swap out tracks for some train rides they would just use a drive sprocket that's centered in the track and have less track overhang, and probably not have the track sticking out from the body of the tank, like the Panther tank.

      I installed them backwards?
      ...
      Oh well.
Need to take better attention to online photos next time!
      thx for your comments!

@@BNTmodels Sorry for the rant ^^
Negatives always seem to stick out more dont they?
I suppose even looking at a real pic could be confusing, if you find a pic with transport tracks mounted without knowing those are a thing, for example : p

@@BNTmodels Oh wait, don't go away yet! I have more useless information!!!!
You know what's even more confusing for modellers? There's one remaining king tiger (the v2 prototype at bovington tank museum) which has the late style single pin tracks mounted. Unlike all tank tracks EVER (that I know of) those tracks have a specific left track and right track. And the British mounted those tracks backwards on the v2 as well xD just in a different way compared to what you did.
In their case it'd still work fine! The tracks are just in the opposite direction compared to all WWII photos : p
So keep that in mind if you ever make that model ^^
Wouldn't be the first time I've seen a modeller use the v2 as reference for the late style tracks only to mount them backwards as well. Then again, that detail is harder to spot, I might be the only one to ever notice :p

Hooray! You pronounced the word "decals" with a long "e"! It makes me wonder how on earth the Brits and Canadians pronounce "details"?
Excellent paint job, by the way.
