Hopefully they fixed all the issues. The MkII had amazing power when you could get it to run. However in high temp climates it would experience fuel expansion in the tank which would flood the carb and cause it to not start. This could also happen when the saw was ran for a while and got hot. You would then need to let them sit for a long time before they would start again. Apparently they reworked the auto carb system. I have not heard any specific information about them fixing the hot start issues or the tank expansion issues; but considering how quickly they released this new mkIII saw I would imagine that it was rushed out to solve the old issues. Personally I prefer the MS200T with a timing advance and ported exhaust. The MS194T is a great saw too once you uncork it with a few mods it rips nearly as well as a stock 201TC-M. Also if you don't want to pay the price for the MS200T used and then having to rebuild it, there is a company named Holzfforma that buys the old patents from companies like Stihl, echo, and Husqvarna on the saws they no longer produce and then they sell exact clones of them. They may not have the exact same quality control or building standards, but you can buy the complete saw for 300$ OR buy all the parts for 275$ and build it yourself. They also honor all their saws with customer support and send replacement parts for free if it messes up! They are sold out on their website right now but amazon has them in stock. They are called the Holzfforma G111. They sell all kinds of old models that are no longer made at incredible prices. Even 660s.
