I lived there in the early 90’s when it was still an “okay” place to live. But even then I quickly discovered it was an insect infested sh*thole with non existent maintenance crew to fix anything. I moved out after 6 months. I can only imagine how bad it must be now. This place is run my slumlords, for sure.
When I stayed there and called health department back in 2017 nothing was done I lost everything new that I had when I moved in I was crushed and scared to have company due to the infestation they need knocked down
Tear it all down. Then build 900 sq ft., 2 bedrooms, one bath homes. Sell them to low income, married couples, with a monthly mortgage of 300.00/month, with the stipulation the homes can not be sold or rented out for 10 years. No Sec. 8 for 20 years.
I would not be surprised that landlord was fixing everything and was spending a lot of money on this apartment complex, but tenants keep damaging that property and not paying their rent and taking advantage of pandemic stimulus checks and unjust eviction new rules.
My mom and I lived here for 7 years before moving last year. After COVID, they stopped caring. Our rent was definitely paid on time and we were a few of the most quietest, cleanest people in the neighborhood. These apartments have gone under new management so many times since COVID and nobody knows what to do with the neighborhood. It just needs to be shut down all together.
I know many landlords that is very good and hard working people and helped so many residents to find very nice place to live, but many residents do not appreciating it and living like pigs and blaming landlords for everything and for all their life problems. This is one of the reasons why we have house shortages in USA become more landlords under big pressure from bad non paying tenants that r taking advantage of pandemic with victim mentality and CT attacking Landlords not understanding the real saturations that is landlords going through in this kind of communities
6 kids holy moly, no wonder the place is destroyed, I would rather rent to someone with 2 dogs a cat and a fking goat then someone with six kids. Kids are way more destructive than pets. I wouldn't fix anything till she is out of there.
