The best way I can describe Clive is if you took all the badboy energy of Squall but you gave him actual emotional maturity. lol
That's not a bad example I see him as. Squall and Noctics put together with more maturity

The place where he went is where he speaks with his ancestors to gain knowledge and wisdom. Joshua was suppose to go there but it was Clive who went on his journey to find himself. Kinda like visiting Degobah system in Star Wars.
You played so well Jess. Did not take damage during the big Ifrit fight.
Top 10 moments in gaming. The music, the meaning behind the spectacle. Ben Starr's voice acting. It just gets better the more I watch it.

I like the fact that Clive looks edgy af but is actually really sweet and still the same « little boy » he was even after losing everything and spending 13 years as a slave
I love Clive honestly. You can tell how big of a heart he has :)
My biggest worry after finishing the demo was that they would make him lose his heart. I'm so glad they didnt.

1:01:34 This is reminds me of "What's in the box?" scene in Seven (1995 film) starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman.
This section is such a phenomenal portrayal of accepting your failures and guilt and learning to move past it. It starts with Clive acknowledging that he was Ifrit, the beast that took his brothers life that night long ago. But thats not the end of his journey of acceptance, because he still sees Ifrit as the culprit of his pain and repressed guilt. Which is why Ifrit returns after the initial defeat in Clives own form, to show Clive that they are the same. Clive MUST accept that Ifrit didnt kill Joshua, it was him regardless of his form or the circumstances. Once Clive "accepts the truth" he takes on Ifrits form, the limit break and eventually embodies Ifrit fully, completing his acceptance of himself and his past.
I’m not so sure if Joshua was the one who lead Clive into the hall of the gate.
Considering Torgal’s reaction upon seeing the hooded man (tho of course Joshua wouldn’t be recognizable), plus to me, it seemed Joshua was surprised to see Clive at the ruins.
As for whom the hooded figure that lead him inside, it could’ve been his Infernal Shadow. Maybe it brought him to the Apodytery so Clive can accept his sin from his past & fully embrace the power of Efrit.
Also on the mural, it does look like Ifrit on top, while the Phoenix is underneath. The meaning behind it? Not so sure. A prophecy perhaps?
Must be important and specifically Clive. Even Joshsua seems to know something about his brother.
The part where Clive unlocks his Devil Trigger was so sick. lol.
So it's named devil trigger now. This game turned out to be Fantasy May Cry. Lmao

When enemy's will gauge are reduced to half. You can takedown them.
Hi Jess! Wanted to drop in and say Happy Independence Day! 🥳. And also I can’t wait for that live stream of Fallout New Vegas. ❤️. It is my favorite fallout game ever and I can’t wait to see you play it. First not I would advise is there are two volume options for music in the options menu. One for “Music” which is the game soundtrack for Fallout like ambient sounds. That’s good for that. But for “radio” that plays real world music aka copyrighted songs. I strongly recommend turn it all the way off as stereos in the game plays copyrighted music. Just to give you a heads up. Unless you are playing on the pc and there will be a mod for it. Anyways, can’t wait. 😊

I like that button man, nothing big but it is a very special button for the main characters
We need a setting to reduced or turn off verbal dog commands- good gracious

I highly recommend replacing Scarlet Cyclone with Heatwave. It's AoE as well, but it's a projectile that either repels projectiles or reflects them, can't remember which. It's a little less damage overall but it allows a lot of flexibility! It's like mega useful even in the endgame. You are so good at the combat that I'm jealous lol I can't play unless I have the Torgal ring on. It just gets too distracting for me. I think I may try playing without the evasion trigger ring on a NG+ run, but honestly I am shit at dodging even with the ring haha. I do have a small tip though in regards to Garuda and her Gouge attack. It's really really useful for staggering enemies or boosting the damage during a stagger. It doesn't do much damage at all, but it is crazy useful in those two cases. You can shift eikons too while using one of the abilities mid-animation. I found that out by mistake lol You actually inspired me with a couple new combo ideas for aerial combat... I'm going to try to Phoenix Shift to a launched or aerial enemy and attack, holding the button for flaming sword attack (which is another launch when airborne). Excellent job on the combat though! I'm seriously impressed
