- Todays Video is a awesome one. I mowed this Super overgrown yard next to a lake on my main channel and decided to Fish that lake on this video right here. Somehow that led to me and my friend chris trying our luck on local lakes that have snook bass and tarpon.... ENJOY

Hi Al & Chris, looks like so much fun on a sunny warm day! Here in Illinois it`s winter , a bit warmer today at high of 55
but last week was -34 brrr!! No Snook or Tarpon here!! Great Video! From Central illinois
that's one thing I miss about livin in FL...can catch anything out of any body of water.
Y'all have some nice fishin spots down there. Here in Northern Indiana, you have to trail to the rivers or wench down a sandy side road of a field, river on the other side, drive 20ft, hook up to another tree an do this about 30x till you get to the sweet spot where river meets river. Then a overnight stay being chased back into your vehicle for either a pack of curious coyote or mink being mad bc youre too close to their territory lol Yep, that's happened a few times to me. Where the Kankakee meets the Yellow River, that's one of our old family spots. Night time fishing is a hot let me tell you! When you're about to doze off an the campfire dwindled to where you cant see squat bc you're at the bend surrounded behind with trees, that little sweet bell rings on the pole an wakes you up, just to pull in a 12lb Bass. It's well worth the wrenching on one side of the river an the squeeze on the other scratching every part of your vehicle lol Best part about fishing, it never gets old. An they say the definition of fishing is a jerk at one end of the pole waiting for a jerk at the other 🤣 I'd say whoever came up with that, never caught a fish in their life😝 Thanks Al for yet another fine fishy morning❣

Haha I wouldn’t keep anything out of the golf course lakes they spray to much and the runoff goes into the water. But I’ll fish the river one day and do a catch clean cook

yes 10lb braid. and if im bass fishing no leader, but if im snook fishing I put 25lb leader on
Geez there ravenous little guys them bass haha, love it! my proudest moment was a metre 15 barramundi, caught him on a live bream fought him for 20 minutes 🤣

What size and weight is your pole. Also what type of line were you using.
This rod is a 7ft 6-14lb rod. And line is 10lb. I use light for bass snook redfish. My bait caster la for bass fishing I have a little heavier
