Definitely disappointing to see that a restaurant and seating area was not added immediately within the terminal after security. Even more disappointing to see that no food space was visible whatsoever throughout the video. Food and beverage amenities are easily the most important thing for a comfortable experience in an airport, and YLW has always been far behind every other comparable city.
100%! And I think there could be space for a mezzanine or some sort for a business class/premium lounge that regular passengers would also be able to pay to get in.
Great to see this rendering and that mass timber will be incorporated into the construction. Wondering to what extent passive design will be used and/or other measures to maximize energy efficiency and healthy airflow? Hoping trees and other vegetation will be used to soften the frontage so that forest panel depicted in the video might be real?!

@@skywalker333 Europe manages to do it, the rest of the world manages to do it, make everything more walkable, look at Amsterdam, they are the biggest non-car country in the world they manage to do it, because guess what? everything is walkable or bikeable and not car-centric, public transit should also be worked on majorly, they should build a light-rail system from the airport to downtown, second bridge would only increase the traffic, learn about induced demand, NotJustBikes has great videos on this, we should follow Europe, they are smart, lanes have also become a meme, because adding more lanes does not work and leads to induced demand. edit: www.youtube.com/@NotJustBikes/videos
