I'll never understand how people can say the nastiest things and still believe themselves to be the righteous one. Labeling someone with such intense language often shuts down meaningful conversation rather than encourages it. It's important to recognize the complexity of a person, even if you strongly disagree with them. Trump's policies, like any politician's, have had both supporters and critics for various reasons, and dismissing all of his supporters as members of a 'cult' overlooks the legitimate concerns they have about the direction of the country.
If we really want to tackle issues like the economy, national security, or individual freedoms, it’s more productive to discuss ideas and policies rather than resort to personal attacks. No one benefits from that kind of polarization.
As for Trump himself-if you genuinely believe he's a moron and a caricature, it seems contradictory to think someone you view so poorly could have sway over millions of people. Perhaps there's something more to his appeal if you're in such disbelief. The alternative is that you believe close to, or more than, half the country are traitorous, racist bigots, willing participants in some fascistic plot to crown Trump as 'Emperor,' which is frankly nonsensical. Just as a thought exercise, try saying that out loud-it's lunacy.
Living with that much hate in your heart isn't healthy. You don't got to support Trump but he's not this drooling fool who also seemingly has the capacity to sway people with magic hypnotic messaging. It's really not that complicated. If you don't like jobs going overseas, or illegal immigration, forever wars, inflation etc. You vote trump. If Biden had a half way successful term maybe you could justify the alternative but I'm not going to belittle Kamala. If you want to live united you need to stop the division. Stop the hate and stop the hurt.

However, I know that many people in this country have a serious difficulty accepting the facts, especially when they contradict whatever nonsense Trump is vomiting at any particular moment, but denying facts doesn’t mean that the truth isn’t true.
