I purchased #4 and recently upgraded to the SP. It is astoundingly quick and accelerates so fast that it is hard to feed it the gears it demands. Very stable at speed, no weave. Just gotta hold on and remember to not open the throttle without considering the laws of the land.
@@PaulONeill-p5k Not just light but light where it matters, The Carbon wheels are in effect a much lighter gyroscope than traditional wheels and that makes direction changes well to put it into perspective I put Mavic rims on a Kawasaki Gpz 1000 back when they were new and that turned a heavy 1000 into what felt more like a 600 response wise, It also gained a few extras such as the race gearbox ratio's from the Gpz 900 R race kit and what worked very well Amal MK 2 Concentric smoothbore carbs using a Honda CB 750 KO K1 throttle cable as they used a four into one throttle cable rather than the later models using a push pull configuration onto mechanical linkage. What a beautifull machine... Always loved the Tesi motorcycles models and Bimota with there rear an front swingarm suspension... I looked in to geting the big Yamaha with front one sided swingarm....but to many problems with an older bike... Again amazing machine.
I'm subscribed to several You Tuber biker channels but they're all rather polite and subdued in their riding style and don't like to show: shall we say "making good progress" on public roads. Great bike review but it was your spirited riding which has reignited the flame within. I was on the verge of hanging my boots up for good. Thank you X
Thank you very much for this video! I rode a TESI D1 SR back in the day (1999-2001). Best bike I ever owned. I was my daily driver for 2 years and never once a problem. I even took it touring. But I had to let it go as part of an international move (I was not a rich man so could not take it with me)... I love this new bike, and glad to see the Kawasaki partnership paying off... I was skeptical at first. But seems they did this right! Way above my pay grade now that I have a family... but a man can dream!
Excellent review. The takes from the front actually proof there is a bit of conventional diving. Over time they learned to leave that in as a compromise because that is what the average rider expects from a bike. I recently rode a Yamaha GTS 1000 with a similar front end and was very impressed by that.
Just stumbled upon your channel while looking for a review on this phenomenal machine. I would like to thank you for your informative and beautiful presentation. Liked and subscribed 😊... Now I'm about to binge on your other videos till bedtime!!! Thanks again 👍
Jesus.... what a truly AMAZING bike, rider and vlog and so informative. Never knew such a bike existed.... Loved it!! I won't ask what, er, 'commuting' speeds you were doing 😇
@@rubyrides Sure, but still a little I see a Profesional rider especially a woman & posting it on YT. I cannot count it but fact it still dominated by man…
This is like the Top Gear of bike reviews, reviewing things I'll never be able to afford but I still lap up the reviews. One thing I would say you missed a trick on is all this talk of the front suspension and you didn't see much of it in action, just fleeting glances.
I see brake dive. Maybe it's just from rear squat, but the front is clearly going up and down due to either acceleration or deceleration. ...Because of course there's weight transfer. I want to see someone do a stoppie on one.
The dive is from the body to the chassis, but never to the front wheel as theres no link like the usual forks between the handlebars to the front wheel!
Ciao Ruby , I met you a few year ago whilst I was riding my Ducati V4 Speciale :-) What's the tank hold on that Tesi H2 ? Just got back from Belgium on my Ducati, really had to plan my fuel stops because of the limited tank range. Especially if you are making progress !
Need this great tech in a 'sit-upright' style of bike - a tourer, if you will. The oldies of us out here who can't bend over the ridiculously low and forward bars would like some of this suspension and performance magic please.
You don't talk about lack of feel and confidence without the conventional USD forks. That's the main thing why BMW went with USD forks instead of their duolever suspension
Hub centre steering gets a new turn. Been around a fair while, but never adopted despite its benefits. Usually the argument is that it costs a bomb. BMW telelever forks go a long way to the Hub Centre benefits at a lower production cost. Ron Haslam raced the hub centre for a while in the 500GPs, he said the ride dynamics were so different that you'd need to grow up on them so that the ride style is automatic. Be nice if this time round the hub centre steering stays.
i dont know about the "only 250 made" cause you can still order them on 9/9/2024, the 250 might have just not sold out yet but i highly doubt that, the 250 could just be some limited edition versions that are less rare than the sp
Thank you paul. I'd say the H2 is more comfortable overall due to its conventional setup, which provides a more ergonomic riding position. The seat height is more suited for the average rider on the road. Also the seat material is designed to be more forgiving, especially during longer riding periods, reducing fatigue and enhancing the overall riding experience.
Tesi looks 10x better. I don't know if I could get used to the shock in front. I don't like the lack of feel on the GS ' telelever front. Especially on a super bike could be a down side.
I agree the Tesi looks slicker than the Ninja. It can only be a downside when it comes to gelling with the bike and getting used to how it feels and works, but once you get over that, it actually has so many advantages.

Hi the wheelbase is only 10mm shorter than the h2 and 14 kilo lighter wet weight hey

straight off the websites

Dry weight:=207 kg +
Engine oil capacity:5.0 lt. = 5KG
Fuel capacity:17 lt. = 17
207 + 5 +17 = 229
Kawaski H2j = Wet / Operational Weight
238.0 kg
more you should do the maths
4:28 i would call that a decent dive.
It dives but the front wheel is not connected and therefore is unaffected!
