The Ebusco is unique though - it's a puller config, in 2024 when most other articulated buses are usually pusher axle. I thought my eyes were playing tricks when I saw a single tyre config same as the front axle at the intro.
VDL has to ask ZF to improve acoustics of the electric motor. Although the Zf ave 130 (used by ecitaro, solaris, sileo and many others,) also sound horrible (nerving high pitch tone, inside and outside) In all other aspects, VDL is class leading like they promised when designing the next gen Citea. Well done! Its literaly a passenger car feeling behind the wheel.
In best case, it was a mistake only on this vehicle from VDL. But. Fixing the problem from potential new vehicle is a great thing anyway! So true! If not a passenger car. At least, like a coach / truck 😁
Nice to see a MAN electric bus for more suburban routes as i am a MAN bus fan😄 But the VDL does seem quite good and so do the others. For me the only difference on the Mercedes was the drive terrain not much else 😂 but the Ebusco seemed absolutely horrible for me. Im not looking forward too them coming to Helsingborg later this year😖
Thanks for a great video. I love all buses, but my favorite is MAN Lion's City E. But I really liked the buses in the video, eCitaro and VDL Citea, I hope one of these three buses will win. Loves from Turkey.
It is unfair that Ebusco 18 is allowed to participate as they are unable to deliver buses as ordered. It is an amateur company that is really causing problems in Norway.
I am definitely impressed by the VDL Citea in this test. Whether it can win is anyones guess but it has a really good shot at winning! Though it looks like the biggest loser is without a doubt the Ebusco 3.0. The Ebuscos we have here in Denmark suffer from very poor build quality and reliability, as well as huge delivery delays (Keolis has legit been waiting for over a year for an order of 3.0's in Nordjylland), and that seems to carry over into this articulated 3.0's whether we like it or not.
Nice buses! I mostly like the articulated buses. But which red/grey articulated bus after 5 buses is it on the left side which is partly in the video? Is that bus also a new one?
Just a shot in the dark but I assume it might be by SOR. Theyre a czech manufacturer and have made a lot of articulated and high capacity buses for the Greater Prague region. And no, those SOR buses are generally pretty old. It might have been a case where the bus has been used in the city centre before, but then afterwards got displaced to use at the fringe of the region after newer buses were ordered.

We really like the puller config! It’s a great solution 😁
Me too would also see a 25 m bi-artic version fully puller the CEO of Ebusco has told
Tell you a secret that the EBUSCO bus is manufactured by our factory

If i stand correct the Low Entry model of the New citea use a ZF CeTrax driveline
❤
ZF does make good sounding gearboxes like the 4HP500 and the howl...so...high hopes
It's nowhere near as bad as the BYD....
The MAN takes an easy win for me. Beautiful design, interior and dashboard
Cool! They won the last two years. Let's see who wins this year :D

Nice to read your opinion 🥰🚌
Buy a Mercedes If you care about your drivers backs.😉👍
Very good driver’s compartment
Or a MAN :)
@@MainCamp_NorwayMan is quite dull... MAN buses are just like every other bus. They don't excel at anything.
@@mart9545Most bus drivers prefer MAN buses over any other bus (for city routes)
Gotta agree with you on that. I drive the Mercedes Citaro C2 NGT Hybrid and i love them.
5:35 - There is a reason why moquettes are used in public transit seating...
😁😂🚌
I'am very happy to see that you came to Karsan, i hope that you'll go to the Temsa, BMC, Güleryüz, Bozankaya too.
Would love to visit them all 😁

True. This was the first time we could drive the bus. Let’s hope no more problems are following
Same goes for VDL
For a days work in the city, I think it is the eCitaro that is the best for both drivers and passengers.
It's a good vehicle!
Would be pretty nice to see the Caetano City Gold E in the next edition!
Could have been exciting.
Shame that czech SOR NS12 or NS18 didn't show up here.
🥲🥲
those chairs look magnificent i wish more trams had those
Good to hear!

Nice to have VDL. But where are Van Hool, Heuliez, IVECO ?

If the Citaro won Bus of the year in 2007, than that's correct

If you saw the video, I comment that the driver seat doesn’t have any seatbelt. Many European countries does not have seatbelts.

No chinese crap buses?! Good!
But what about Scania or Volvo?
The VDL looked really cool!
What is your conclusion?
Scania ended urban bus production. As you said, where is Volvo 8900 Electric? I think it should have been Ebusco instead. VDL is really great.
@@furkanpusal42 Volvo 8900E has not been manufactured yet. If I remember correctly, the production will start in 2025.
Our opinion is in the video 😉
