  • In this episode me and Krystal had to get our blue crab traps out of the water and luckily had a few crabs for dinner! I try a new recipe and bake these crabs in garlic butter for a delicious weeknight meal!

    Next time get a big metal bowl and toss the crabs in the oil. It will be a lot easier than using them tongs in that tiny pan.
    Great way of cooking crabs. I'll have to try this method out. When you poured that garlic butter I was hyped

    My family has made garlicbutter crabs forever. Never seen it done like that. We clean the crabs like you then do a Maryland boil to where they are about halfway done then simmer them in an immense amount of butter and garlic in a big pot. My favorite. But I must say I'm going to try this. Great video.

    We use row mullet or big mullet a lot 10 to 16 inches long . Fillet them and let them dry in the sun . Salt them down and freeze them . There very fatty and make great bait for any fish in the winter time or crabs .

    Hi from Hawaii. On regular boil crabs. Many people on the mainland clean their crabs. Here, the people are like no, no, no ..best part of the crabs is the shell and in between the crab body. The fats or and eggs, delicious. Love all your videos.

    I just wanted to let you guys know that I tried your garlic crab recipe and it was delicious, only thing I done differently was instead of the spices yall used I threw in 1 half of a pack of Louisiana brand BBQ shrimp seasoning and they were fantastic, thanks for the recipe, I love you guys, keep up the great work and God bless family.

      I wouldn't say better but different, definitely a lot more spice and all around flavorful,,, I've tried it both ways when I cooked them and my family and I destroyed them both,, we like you and your family my man,, spend our time together fishing as much as possible and eating and trying new recipes, only we live in deep south Louisiana. Not quite Venice but very close.

    Cajun Coonass here and I’m from South Louisiana- ya know, you can have the crab, just leave all the yellow/orange guts for me! It’s really the best parts.

    I love watching you for having Arkansas and not Louisiana like normal and I miss my blue crabs and going fishing Arkansas as a man-made lakes all you see out here is bluegill sometimes Crappie but I missed the red fish and the speckled the rock crab claws maybe I get some money together and go back for a week are two that's where my kids live but they don't take interest in the stuff I did growing up.before my father and law passed every weekend fishing and craving and trolling for shrimp.keep up the video my friend I used work on the tugs 20 on 10 off

    I been doing good crabbing at the East Palatka boat ramp. Me an my wife been hand line of of bushes a long the banks. We got 73 nice crabs in a 1 1/2 hours. We put 20 hand line out.

    That looks just like the boat ramp where we rented some Craigcat boats at around 3 years ago. It was right next to a closed down restaurant right after covid hit. It was right there south of the power plant and we even went up river a short ways to a old railroad trusel in a cove.

    I was born and raised in MD, the yellow mustard is the best, if you’re into that sort of thing, but i scrape that crap out too. My uncle Luther was the crab 🦀 eating’ist person i ever knew, even at all you can eat’s, he would squeeze and suck the meat out of each little leg! He left nothing! Great channel new subscriber here.

    Love this video. If you ever need a tag along, I'm going ypu go to a girl who is relaxing, and I love crabs. Baked crabs is a dish. I'd love to try happy crabbing.

      We’ve watched some of your crab videos, love the catch & cook. Also your shrimping videos. I can throw a 4’ net and it pancakes out beautifully. What I can’t do is the spin around and throw. Boy, I’d be on the ground or in the water from dizziness🤣

      Hubs and I went to Destin 2 yrs ago. We chartered a nice boat with max 8 people. When we got there, they couldn’t fill our charter so they put us on a bigger boat with 45 people! Fishing elbow to elbow is not my gig. Went out about 25 miles and I was sea sicker than sick. All those people and…. I had a medical sea sickness patch. I’ve been on boats before (Bay Area) and never got sick. Do you think I would get this seasickness again? I really want to go get my dream fish mahi-mahi but know there may be a severe price to pay🤢

    We are putting our crab trap in on the Intracoastal Waterway in SC. They didn’t eat shrimp heads last year…using chicken. Waiting on my Toadfish order!

    Fantastic recipe Tug, can't wait to try it. Next time you cook crab, try grilling it with the same garlic butter sauce, but add fresh basil to the mix

No sarcasm from us but the yellow stuff in a blue crab is not guts it is fat, very tasty, you should try some. Orange in a female is eggs, also tasty. Thanks for the great vids, Keep them coming.     Great video Tug & Crystal! Doesn’t matter if you get a ton of crab as long as you get enough. Lol. What an awesome recipe and fantastic cook on the crab. So delicious looking. Great date night where you both ate just a touch of garlic. Lol. Cheese totally goes with seafood. I made a smoked lobster cream cheese dip the other night. So good.

    I haven’t had crabs in years but that’s I’ve always done it, I’ve always cleaned my crabs first. I won’t eat a crab unless it’s been cleaned first.

      Dude tried different bates, ran 4 crab traps and 3 with the trigger fish were full and mostly big crabs. Several 6 inch and several 8s!
