I can’t show every situation, so be discerning with your usage. For the purposes of the demo, I kept auto-complete on, but in general, I would recommend to keep it OFF. ⚠️⚠️WARNING⚠️⚠️ to anybody planning to use AI for school. Be really careful when reading each line it gives you is in your own words before using it or it will be pretty clear you used AI. Also make sure you have a good understanding of the topic because it often gives misinformation.

HII AMYYY! How are youuu? This video is literally going to save almost all of us from a writers block and actually help in writing a good essay! To be honest, I was always scared that 'Ai will take over' but i couldn't agree more with how you said that 'The future is written *with* Ai, NOT *by* Ai'! And Ai really is helpful for working efficiently but it's very important to remember that, we have to make Ai for us and not work FOR it! And what that means is that we have to use Ai for purposeful things and actually make use of it!

Encouraging people to use AI in any part of their essay is a very dangerous thing to do. If students get caught doing this, *it could absolutely kill their essay and could cost them entire diplomas*. I’m very disappointed. I didn’t think you would be the kind to bow to sponsors without seriously thinking through the service.
Hi! Thanks for your comment and your consideration. Before I made a decision on the sponsorship, I specifically asked the POC what their thoughts are on the ethics of using AI. My concerns were the same as yours because I believe that students should prioritize thinking themselves first.
After emails of back and forth, I understood that the point of Jenni AI is to be an alternative to ChatGPT, which would write the entire essay for you. This is also why I said in the video to check with your rulings whether AI is allowed because actually many classes allow it since AI is a tool that we will leverage to make our work more efficient. People are already using it in the workforce so students would actually benefit from learning how to use it properly.
Further, the examples I provided were research-based papers which typically do not have much voice in them. For personal writing or things like for AP Lang or Lit, Jenni AI’s “writing sentences for you” would not even be helpful so you couldn’t use it. Rather, the peer review, AI PDF chat, and citations features would be applicable and encouraged to be used across all writing.
I’ve turned down loads of sponsorships in the past when I didn’t believe in their value, regardless of how much money they offered. Just hope you know that I’m incredibly picky about what products I decide to share with my valued audience.

However, I wouldn't use AI for writing in general because it's better to just come up with the ideas yourself. This is also good practice for actual in-class exams where you won't have an AI and would have to come up with the ideas and formulate your own essay yourself. It's hard to do sometimes but if you read more books and practice more you can get very good and efficient at it.
If you're in a writing block, using AI could be fine but I just take a break or walk around a bit and when I come back, I just write. Don't stop writing, even if it sounds bad because it can just be your first draft and you can change it. It's just important to get your ideas out and on paper even if its not as concise or flushed out as you wanted it to be. Using AI for ideas could also be troublesome as sometimes it limits your train of thought to what it has given you and whenever you try come up with new ideas for the same topic or essay, you just keep going back to the one it gave you.
However, using AI for feedback is a brilliant idea, just make sure to give it some random number to mark it out of, for example, "Give me a mark out of 13".

Wowww this is such a great way to write efficiently by using a robot to tell you exactly what to write! The creativity this will allow and genuineness it adds to your education!! Definitely it matters so much more to write something fast by using ai then to write it with your own words for so much longer! This will definitely help me become a better person in the future, thanks.
Personally, for creative writing and more philosophical works, I would write it myself, but just like how students are already using ChatGPT, you can ask how you can write something in a better way to learn from that and improve your writing skills. With all AI I agree you have to remember to keep your own judgment and think critically because that’s what is amazing about humans. As shown, you can turn off autocomplete, which I recommend.
As far as writings like literature review and other ways schools like Harvard and MIT are using this tool, I see it as an especially a helpful tool because those pieces are less personal!

Hm, regarding the disciplined consistency, I believe you can use tips like I discussed in my "how to focus" and "efficient studying" videos (have you seen those already?) but most of all, train your mindset to love discipline. You do this by toughening yourself through pushing yourself in any and all facets of life: running an extra 10 minutes, taking yourself out of your comfort zone, etc. Once you get good results and you see what you can accomplish, your fire will be stronger and stronger that you will be the one who can stay disciplined without any external forces or advice. I got an A in English 111, 112 when I was at Nova community college. I got a B in English 202 and an A- in English 302 At GMU.
Mehhh, I'm old school, I can write alone, and those A.I.'s can't do it like me. The power of the human is underestimated, I blame this on scientific dogmatism. The human is spiritual, and much more competent in giving evaluations, exploring universal evaluations and giving universal explanations. My standards aren't too high though lol. WE ARE HUMANS! Ty though, any other tips I would welcome with open arms if they improve the fundamental conduction of the human.
I respect your perspective and tbh I am pretty old school in many ways too. But when I was like that in my work, I discovered I was falling behind so I had to learn new tools!

My teacher said that i have actually improved overall in my tests and especially when it comes to studies... In my 2nd term Assessments i got a total of 78/125 (C-) and this time, i got 120/125! Hi! So I know some classes will specifically say you can’t use AI to help you and some actually let you because learning to leverage AI is actually a helpful skill so I would definitely check with your teacher to see the rules. Also, for writing things by hand like AP Lang test, of course, practice writing by hand. At the least, the citations and source finding features are definitely awesome to try!

Came here to learn HOW to actually write, not use an AI tool. Yes AI is the future, but actually knowing how to write well is a fundamental aspect of the larger skill of communicating well, which is critical in all aspects of life. Being able to write well (without AI) will always be a valuable skill especially because AI can't be used for everything and won't always be available. I'm really disappointed to see writing guides that rely THIS heavily on AI to even just start an essay. Writing is an incredibly complex and intricate art that can only be so much more though human skill and intelligence.
