It was awesome to see Andre overwhelming everyone like they were nothing.
Especially Abobo. Guy cost me so many quarters.
they should have made it where everyone running away from andre unless they have a weapon. that would have been funny

@tunkunrunk Andre dwarfed ALL of them! lol Loved seeing him toss those "big" guys around like they did Spike and Hammer when I played the game! Whoever played this did well not to get "killed", but when he picked up a rock or barrel, he always threw it the wrong way. Also, lead the thugs into the dynamite to get blown up. But he threw many of them to their deaths skillfully!
At the time of his appearance in WWF Superstars Andre was in poor health. He had to lean on people just to walk short distances. So this was a fitting tribute to show Andre at the apec of his life. RIP.
That is what I was thinking. Mega Powers vs. Mega Bucks was SummerSlam ‘88, which was months after WrestleMania III.
Watching some of his ring work from the 60's and 70's was freaky. He could really move very quickly for his size. Watching him bounce of the ropes. The turnbuckles being tested to their limits.

It's just Andre having multiple handicapped matches except he is not in the ring. It's also satisfying to see Abobo get tossed around by Andre. Bit of payback from when I was a kid.
Not only no death, but no weapons. That's pretty kickass, dude.
Andre has the strength of like at least 8-10 men, so no need for weapons!
@@OtomoTenzi Totally dude. Only thing he didn't do was Canadian Backbreaker lol. Which makes sense because Andre's finisher in real life was the seated senton or big splash. And it turned out he used the boulder once on an Abobo, but not even intentionally, but still not bad.

I love that Andre even dwarfs Abobo, and can toss him around just as easily as the other characters. Only Abore (who was traced from Andre's sprites, from what I've read) matches him in size, and Andre can even toss *him* around easily. Edit: I see someone else said the same thing four years ago, even using similar phrasing. :D
I'm also so impressed that this game was made from scratch.

he can't take damages, can you set the game so that he life bar diminish as he get hit ?
He takes damage, its just like in the original Double Dragon, the life bar doesn't go down every time you get hit.
@@suchiuomizu damn ! He is too strong , but what a pleasure to see thise vilains getting their ass kicked , that pay justice to us who lost so many coins back in the early 90s . That was unfair that enemies had more moves than the players, that forced us to trick opponents to beat them, that wasn't beating them up the hard way .
@@tunkunrunk Yeah, I never liked that, Billy and Jimmy were supposed to be martial arts masters but normal enemies could use the same moves as them.

All the WWF characters in this game come from an old arcade game, WWF Superstars. He was not in that game, so he won't be in this one.
