Had no idea they performed parts of the timeless Tekken 1/2 soundtracks live, this is amazingly nostalgic. Reminds me of seeing the The Black Mages play Final Fantasy songs live
The real reason they didn't put it into Tekken 7 was because they don't have the license to use it anymore. A lot of older Tekken songs are missing from the Jukebox/Tekken Tunes mode because of licensing issues. Unless they decide to get the licenses again, we're probably not gonna be seeing the missing Tekken 2 arranged songs or Tekken 5's Ground Zero Funk ever again in future Tekken games.
@@frankieseymour3324 indeed, they're pioneer since the old days, they also were so cool that the music staff went to music clubs and they also played club remixes of their songs, I can't imagine something better than that
@@moissaniteshinierthandiamo3934 I know right. There was a namco like tekken remix on youtube a while ago, i wonder if it's still there, if it is, check it out
Where did you get this stuff? XD you work in namco or what? :D just find kazuya/devil song and it will be heaven. btw. can you upload this and other songs as mp3 or flac so we could download
Holy shit. Besides the obligatory "where did you find these?" I cannot come up with any information on the 1996 US Gaming Expo, much less come up with any info on "US Gaming Expo" in general. Was that actually the name of the event or was it called something else?
Fale55 That's what I'm thinking at first I thought it was E3 but Tekken 2 came out around late summer of 96 in the west. Somebody needs to contact Harada of this event.
@@alexsantos3100 I searched for hours with different queries with custom date ranges on google and didn't see anything relating to an E3 music performance in 95-97. Either Harada or anyone on the T2 sound team
Fale55 Thanks. I'm impressed with the hard research you did. the conclusion that I have is this event must have been advertised on newspapers or a defunct game magazine. I wonder if the uploader confused the event for "Game Music Festival" however the event was held in Japan only.
@@alexsantos3100 Thanks, it's a big deal for me since it's one of my favorite OSTs, unfortunately it's old and it's such a niche interest especially since T2 is so oversighted by T3. Yeah it being marketed in print would make sense or even just as a surprise event. Never heard of or don't remember the gaming music festival. Did it exist back then?
I think that this soundtrack is not from a Show, I think that this user of youtube is a musician and this versión of the soundtrack is fanmade by himself with prerecorded crow, and you must wonder, how He can know that? because the synth lead is an hypersaw, a famous synth preset that borns after 2001
also if bandai namco decides to remaster/remake the tekken trilogy for ps4, they should hire you and this guy: ua-cam.com/channels/IXBdKhgS6lCx49gC05pO1Q.html?spfreload=5 to remake the music (check out this guy's channel. he has done 2 tekken 3 music remakes so far and they're great) (oh and dont forget to check out his other remakes of songs)
best song from the best stage in the series

I don't think they did. I think this is just fanmade.
And Harada said they 'forgot' to add this song to OST dlc...
Forgot??? Lmao yeah right 🙄
@@Made_In_Heaven88 what other reason you think it could be?

@@vulcan422 plus you're talking about 20+yrs ago
@@vulcan422 how is it that Namco doesn't own all the songs, weren't they all composed in house? What's make those others the exception?
Why is the nostalgia making me EMOTIONAL tho? Ugh this game made my childhood on the OG PlayStation.
Why can I imagine Goku and Vegeta having an intense battle to this?
😂
This made my eyes water 👌🏿
OMG head Shaker indeed 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
This version is crazy good
Fun fact people may not know: the dnb sampling used in this variation is the same as Lightning Luge from Rage Racer, also by namco. Both great songs.
NAMCO had the best composers in my opinion for video game music in this time. Maybe for all times when it comes for video game music

It's called the amen break, it's literally in just about very dnb track ever made
Originally from the song: "Amen, Brother" by the Winstons. If it wasn't for them, there'd be no drum and bass. @@Higginz1991

¡Excelente composición Yudai!

Damn i luv you Yuda ;D
So beautiful track !!!
Dam that shit hard
AMAZING DUDE !!!!
If they can't put this song on for whatever reason, they need to remix it. It's too good to not be in any other Tekken game.
Start kinda reminds me of Halo
This needs added to T8
para mi esta con la de mishell son las que mas escucho
Nice
This is dope!!!
Can someone post the full version on SoundCloud plz
Edit:I got a like in the first three minutes other people must want this
