A travel miniseries about the Banana Pancake Trail, one of the most popular backpacking routes located in South East Asia. From bustling street food markets and serene temples to hidden gems off the beaten path, each episode unveils a new chapter in the my own quest for personal growth. This series is all about cultural exploration and showing the world that backpacking can teach you so much about yourself and the world we live in.
Episode 3 is shot in Bangkok and its surroundings (Thailand), Siem Reap (Cambodia), Koh Rong (Cambodia) and Phnom Penh (Cambodia). I joined the main part of the trail, starting in Bangkok and moving towards the east - Cambodia and later Vietnam, continuing the trail in a counterclockwise manner. This episode is all about the food and recent & old history. It features the huge cities and a calm island paradise that was one of my favorite places to visit.
