Great stuff - this is a really good solo by Benson (and one of the still playable ones, if you know what I mean :) with a lot of his blues language. And you nailed the transcription. Good work, man.
whoa!!!! The solo I've been looking for!!! Seriously! I brought this to my teacher, downtown Chicago in 1982 (give or take a year or 3)....on my cassette player....he listened with me, in awe, and I remember he stopped the tape, and said...I cannot figure out what he did just there (on your amazing video it's at 1:56 to 1:58)....You sure figured it out!! Kudos to you, my fine riffing friend...just excellent!!!
I think this tune is from the album Blue Benson, made in the 70's. Herbie Hancock on the piano, btw. This tune in particular was styled after Wes Montgomery "blues in F" (search for it on UA-cam to see the similarities). In any case, fantastic job, mate!
I used Adobe rush to edit the video, first I cut the lead sheet, selecting like 5 bars at a time, then in the program, you put the video and one of the images and synchronize it, and so on. I hope this makes sense. I found this tutorial, maybe can help ua-cam.com/video/QlEDsa4UyZQ/v-deo.html
Incredible, excellent and fantastic. You got the feel, the tone, the phrasing, the fingering, the soul and the TALENT!!
I concur, tasty playing, really swinging, sounds like one guitar.
Super 🎉
Damn dude! That is seriously impressive. Great job, incredible really. Now you have to do a part a two where you do the chord solo at the end.
Hey i transcribed this amazing chord solo with notes and tabs:) ua-cam.com/video/lX3FdrQTK28/v-deo.html

George Benson was in his 20s when he came up with that solo on Billie's Bounce!!
You can hear Hank Garland's influence in there...

does anyone know how this score is added to the video ?
Hi Anoki, thanks for your comment. I added the score using Adobe Premier and Finale for the music notation.
