I love the Racer heated gloves I bought from you…so well designed with no real loss of feel compared to summer gloves
Hi, that's great to hear! Ride safe! :)
Nice review :)
Thanks!
What would be nice is if you could disable elements in your palm side cause I mean a lot of bikes already have heated grips and you just want extra heat to the back side of hands which then the battery would last much longer ...manufacturer could have a connector in the same pocket the battery goes....good idea? I think so but I dont see this offered anywhere which is dumb considering they could then advertise perhaps "up to 8 hours battery life" etc
The gloves look really neat but I will have to wait until they release a battery model with USB-C, to make sure it is future-proof. I don't want to carry a special cable for them.. it's 2022
they have the tiny adaptor connectors from micro to C...I dont think the micro is going anywhere in applications we want to keep as compact as possible. just saying
It's getting nippy in northern Thailand. Middle of the night, and it's 24 degrees Celsius.
:D
Obviously each glove has it's own battery I assume? LOL would suck to have wires going through from one sleeve to other having to plug in each time you take gloves on and off...dumb question but I dont think you specifically said two batteries or each
Bought these. And after a month, the wire connected to the heating element broke. So left hand is cold, right hand still functions and there is no way to fix it unless you rip open the fabric to re-attach it to the heating element.
The batteries in these are 2350 mAh not 4000, They don't turn on automatically when plugged in - you have to hold the power button for 3 seconds, which is a real pain as you have to take of the gloves to turn them on
Does not sound right makes no sense that once plugged in you have to take glove off....I am not trusting you on this dude
Yeah how do you put the battery in if you haven't taken the glove off. 🤣
Glove is off, battery goes in, press the button, put it on, bosh.
does it have heated thumb ?
Micro usb... 😒. Everything should be USB C by now.
You can pay me to swap the collection for you
The C is pretty large I think a micro makes better sense for this application plus I mean there is the little adaptors if you really dont want to carry another cable ...just saying
Agreed! Cheap bastards. I haven't even seen the price but given the manufacture… I'm sure you are paying a premium for these gloves. Trash
@@dougiequick1not correct same size
Please, tell me the advantages of usb C on this
does it have heated thumb ? do they heat the finger tips? >>>> Why don't you answer these very pertinent questions (asked below)? The most important thing is the fingers, which get cold first, and not the palm.
How is the dexterity with these? It’s hard to tell if they are super thick (other than the breakdown of the layers in the video).
Hi Ludwig, They will feel like a normal thick winter glove. It takes a little time to get used to them and then all is fine, just like regular winter gloves. - Iza
Personally for ME it would be nicer to have a sleeker glove with good dexterity that relies on the batery ...rather than heating a bulky stiff already warm winter glove@@UrbanRiderlondon
do they heat the finger tips?
Ye they will ignite your entire body progressively and finally you are gonna be the winner of the Ghost Rider Cosplay Show.
Do they sometimes look like they are brown? Are there both colors?
Hi Patrick, they are only realising them in Black for the time being, depends on the lighting they might give a look of a brown. - Iza
Ohh. I stopped watching when the term "micro USB" came up. Revit we are in 2023 !
I would prefer usb type C also..Also it was big problem to find out how to turn them on.First the batteries must be ON...No videos or instruction in the box desceibe this...Was ready to return them..Bad for revit..Never buying any revit stuf againg
T U
It's there no wire in option
Hi, It's a battery operated system on these gloves. - Iza
I just got a pair. Mine don't even turn on! WTF?
Hi, I am very sorry to hear this! If you bought them with us please get in touch via email at info@urbanrider.co.uk and we can get this resolved for you! - Iza
@@UrbanRiderlondon Thanks for the response. No worries! I learned that the battery must be turned on first. They work great!😂
Does the battery stay on until turned off? Would be awful if it turned off everytime gloves are switched off and you had to take the damn gloves off everytime! ?? THAT would be a total deal killer!! Bad enough the battery even HAS a switch! wtf? It has a plug! @@medicatedwookie5499
mine too
I refuse to buy anymore from your site until YOUR employee gear reveal video thingie and until you finally launch your only fans 😜
Wha????
@@dougiequick1 I was waiting the long awaited OF. It was behind schedule for a while there. Apparently it’s a taboo topic now and we don’t mention it so I probably shouldn’t even be replying
Freaking skirt at the end of the glove! What a useless facking thing! That gets wet when it rains a lot! Huge red flag for revit.. By the way, alpinestar has 3 pairs of gloves! Can you make a review of them?? Cheers!!
Hi Dario, I'm afraid that we do not stock Alpinestars at the moment. - Iza
