Good review. Especially to include the tray table. I often cannot use it because I am big but you showed how it swivels so I know it will be ok should I choose to fly Thai.
I enjoyed my Thai 777 from London Heathrow to bkk in March , business class. Comfortable, good leg/ foot room & bed was great too , staff very attentive & friendly.. 😊
Some of their 777-300er has the same type of seat with an 2012 era fabric. But I don’t understand why this is the same as the 2012 era but with the new fabric and carpet that you seen on all the newer Thai Airways seats. Because the newer style purple doesn’t go well with the 2012 style seats. Also the newer looking ones are a lot better like the ones on some of the newer 777-300er and A350-900.
Nice review Thai really have gone down since they were the triple SE Asia crown of Singapore, Cathay and Thai. Now they are bottom feeding with Malaysian when they have the Middle Eastern carriers to contend with including no doubt at some point Turkish. I think they are screwed.
Thai airways, isn’t as perfect as it was before. From London did mind blowing, but from Copenhagen, they use their oldest worn out and unacceptable aircrafts, the staff is moody and sure don’t do, a thing they don’t have to, don’t pass through the cabin and you better not dare to go to the back to ask for anything. it’s a living nightmare!
From my experience, Thai Air Business class in long haul flights is bad and disappointing: When I booked my return business class tickets from Germany to Thailand, I chose both flights in new planes, but just a few days or weeks before the flight date Thai Airways changed both for OLDER PLANES, aged and less comfortable. Also they didn't respect my seats number bookings. The business class SEATING were BAD for anybody taller than 170 cm, the rows were too close excepting two rows. The AUDIO-VIDEO SYSTEM HAD CONTINUOUS INCIDENTS, it was impossible to watch movie o listen music without suffer shutdown several times. Also some of the headphones give a horrible sound. The crew was used to this; they had to reset the system several times during the flight. AC: the business cabin temperature was too cold, frozen. I wasted my first 5 days in Thailand on bed, sick because of it. FOOD: just regular. DRINKS: wines were served 10-15 minutes later than food, too late and unacceptable for a Business class. BOARDING and Security: there was no a different queue and finger for business passengers, it was together with economy class. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, horrible, Air China standard. They made me miss a connecting flight in Bangkok due to the long delay in the arrival of the Thai Air flight. They did not take responsibility for anything, nor did they provide any solution or compensation, and they treated me very disrespectfully, demonstrating that customer service and satisfaction is a concept unknown to Thai Air, nothing to do with European standards. My score for the long haul business class in Thai Airways: FAIR to BAD After that deceiving and disappointing experience and the poor quality, I have never flown with Thai Air again. There is a good choice of much better airlines: Turkish, Qatar, Singapore, Lufthansa, Cathay,...

Flew Thai Air twice last week. Older hardware that I actually like. Food and service that was 10X better than anything in the US.
So is it true that 19A&K has a bit of extra space due to its in the front row?
Nice review

Does anyone know how long the bed is. I am 6ft 2, so wondering if I will fit comfortably, I don't want to spend so much if its not worth it.

Forget 777 300 ER, old and just not good.. I only take A380s and 787s these days
Thai air doesn’t fly A380 anymore. I think u mean A350
