    In most cases, a dc motor is used for continuous motion. In robotics, direct current (DC) motors are where it's at. It is the DC voltage that is used to power DC motors. Direct current (DC) motors typically have just two connections. Between these two terminals, we shall apply direct current.
    In addition to DC motors, servo motors are frequently found in robotic devices like robotic arms. When precise motion or forceful propulsion is required, this type of motor is typically called for. We may easily rotate an attached object across a wide range of angles by using the servo motor's built-in control circuitry.
    When greater precision is required, one of the most common motor types is the stepper motor. Thus, the word "stepper" refers to the motor's motion, which is discontinuous in comparison to DC motors.
    Then, there is a second kind of motor that is called a brushless motor. This is, however, just a subset of DC motors. Rotating permanent magnets at the motor's core power brushless DC motors. Applications that can make use of a brushless motor's superior durability and reduced power consumption are ideal for this type of motor.
