You realize the Diamondbacks didn't exist before 1997, yet they won a World Series in 2001, right? That's incredible for an expansion team and almost unheard of
Not only did they win the world series but how do you put together a comp of "choke" moments, include the games where the D'Bags choked, and not show game 7 when the yankees(suck!) coughed it up BIG TIME. Guy putting these together must be a yankees(suck!) fan.
The Red Sox 2004 world series run could never be topped. No baseball team could have a season the way that season went, after the adversity that was faced from the 2003 ALCS. The 2004 Red Sox changed peoples lives forever.
As a cards fan, watching that David Freese recap is something I will NEVER forget! My dad was so lucky to be there. Brings a big smile, goose bumps, and a little tear to my eye. My goodness, there's nothing better than October baseball!!
For those of you who don't know why the redox one was long it was because they came back on the Yanks from a 3-0 deficit then became the first team to come back
It's amazing man, most of the time it's not even choking. Just one team has the will to win and they can't be stopped pretty amazing to watch when it happens
Yeah, that was tough to watch. Blue Jays did not deserve that game. Their fans just found out what baseball was last September. I was routing for the Rangers then, and I actually had to leave the room.
That is completely false my friend, fans have been there the whole time, I guess some quit during the rough 2000s. Lol they won the game and came back In the series, don't see how they didn't earn it,
hey man, great Channel. I've been looking for another good baseball videos channel since Bronx bomber 42 left and so did team RHVX. I just subscribed, keep it up man. you have the potential to getting a pretty good following
You forgot the 2014 Milwaukee Brewers on this list. My God, how do you have the best record in baseball for over half the season and then not make it to the playoffs?
Texas choked in the World Series. The Mets as well. If you look at it that way, they didn't deserve to be the champions. You know what a team is made of when things get tight and both teams faltered, so St. Louis and Kansas City were true champions.
The same shit almost happened to the Cubs this year... a big lead blown in the eighth. You could look at Chapman as he watched Davis' homer and know exactly what he was thinking... _"First Bartman now Chapman..."_ The Cubs offense saved his ass, big time. I felt horrible for the guy, too. To be one of the best closers in the game, to not have allowed a home run in MONTHS and then be the reason the Cubs lose the World Series after a miracle comeback? Thankfully that didn't happen to him. No one deserves that.
That Rangers WS choke will always kill me. I wanted so badly to finally win a World Series after all these years, and we gave it away after Cruz failed at that catch. I cry every time (not literally, but internally).
This is probably included in later videos, but the 1996 World Series was the tipping point between a possible Braves dynasty and the Yankees dynasty that did happen. They were up 2-0 and in Atlanta when they got dominated by David Cone in Game 3 and then blew a 6-0 lead in Game 4.
Giants fan here...more than any team, I feel for those Rangers fans. To come down to being not only one out, but one strike away from winning the World Series, and to have that happen TWICE in the same game!! That would absolutely kill me as a fan!
Rangers Jays was the legit choke job. The other plays, someone gave up a hit or a HBP which is out of their control but the Rangers committed like 4 super easy errors in that inning to give the Jays the win.
wow, i never thought of dusty baker as the chokiest manager in baseball history but.... 2002 giants, the "steve bartman game" in chicago, then he was the manager of the 2012 reds when they lost 3 straight at home to the giants in the nlds. poor dusty.
The way Andrus choked is pretty outstandingly awful, especially considering how good of a player he is. One error is one thing, three is another, and three in a row is just really bad. Poor guy must have felt so terrible.
While watching the 2001 WS, whenever the Diamondbacks put in Byung Hyun Kim, i knew they were gonna lose any game he pitched in. Thankfully they still won the WS. Im not even a DBacks fan either (A's fan)
96 the braves blowing that lead in game 4 wouldve been a good on to add. My favorite game of all time. Remember exactly where I was when Leyritz hit that home run.
Man all these calls by Joe Buck were amazing! the fans screaming, the authoritative tone of the call, and the ambiance is amazing! my favourite is 5:49 "driven into right!.....it is....gone!!" I leaped from my couch in that game!
Poor Bill Buckner....honestly....for all the torment he has received since that day, no one curses out the bullpen, nonetheless the game was already tied when the ball went under his legs.
I mean, yeah, the Diamondbacks choked those two games but they still won the WS....
Exactly
Yah, me being a Yankees fan, we fucked up big time and cost us. You guys deserved the win
Michael O'Toole when your a salty yankee hater
Cardinals fans must love this
Rosenthal......
Most are too old and probably don't watch UA-cam
+Andy Bishop ha
I'm a cardinals fan and I do love this. Some of the best comebacks in post season history right there
I love this I am a Cardinals fans
Nothing will ever beat the yanks as the biggest chokers. 3-0 on your biggest rivals. It was a thing of beauty
The Red Sox 2004 world series run could never be topped. No baseball team could have a season the way that season went, after the adversity that was faced from the 2003 ALCS. The 2004 Red Sox changed peoples lives forever.
i wouldn't call the Yankees-D backs clips chokes because of the fact that the Dbacks won the world series that year. Either way great video
Good point man, thanks for thanks for the support too
I think the Yankees shouldve won the 2001 World Series because of 9/11. Even though im a Yankees fan.
@@YankeesLife very interesting. That first Mets game back after where Piazza hits the home run still gives me chills
@@YankeesLife no they shouldn’t have. Dbacks played better.
WHY DO PEOPLE PUT MUSIC IN THESE VIDEOS? FOR FUCKS SAKE.
copy right issues. for they can't get sured or banned on UA-cam.
+PRIM3_-TACTiCZ-1 no one copyrights sports moment. There's thousands of videos with no music and they never get taken down.
+Marshall Shilling There's also thousands more that you don't see because they were copyrighted
It drives me crazy
I know
As a cards fan, watching that David Freese recap is something I will NEVER forget! My dad was so lucky to be there. Brings a big smile, goose bumps, and a little tear to my eye. My goodness, there's nothing better than October baseball!!
Fuck Elsa.
I know man, that was one of the best games I've ever seen
can't watch because of the music. I'm moving on.
But you had enough time to leave no one cares just leave
Then mute the video, its pretty easy....
Same here. These kinds of videos need actual audio, not be ruined by music. And don't tell me to mute it. That's almost as bad.
James Monahan I agree
For those of you who don't know why the redox one was long it was because they came back on the Yanks from a 3-0 deficit then became the first team to come back
It's amazing man, most of the time it's not even choking. Just one team has the will to win and they can't be stopped pretty amazing to watch when it happens
Rangers are the choke legends
+CD Highlights and 2015
sorry saying a team that never has been to a world series doesn't mean their chokers at all.
id rather have my team not make the world series over making it then choking it away like the rangers lol..
+CD Highlights in my opinion those 2 pennants mean nothing after the rangers choked away the world series
Canadian_boy97 nobody cares about your opinion
Why the music? There isn't a need for it. Distracts from the video
4-5 minutes, were, as a Rangers fan, the most heartbreaking games of my life.
Such a painful moment, I can't even watch it
Yeah, that was tough to watch. Blue Jays did not deserve that game. Their fans just found out what baseball was last September. I was routing for the Rangers then, and I actually had to leave the room.
That is completely false my friend, fans have been there the whole time, I guess some quit during the rough 2000s. Lol they won the game and came back In the series, don't see how they didn't earn it,
That was directed to that super guy lol
+kando291 Toronto is loyal to all its sports teams... except the Leafs. Everyone hates the Leafs.
This guy deserves so many more subs than he has
Thanks man
+Epic Baseball Highlights no problem
hey man, great Channel. I've been looking for another good baseball videos channel since Bronx bomber 42 left and so did team RHVX. I just subscribed, keep it up man. you have the potential to getting a pretty good following
Would you like a Part 2?
Uhhhhh ya
Part 3?
Motherhumper I want a part 73, what you talkin' about?
Bueno comment
Yes...but without music.
As a Yankees fan I hate to admit it, but the 2001 World Series was probably the best World Series I've ever watched.
Good point
Thanks for showing the REAL play that lost the game for the Cubs in 2003. Alex Gonzalez botching a grounder at shortstop. Not Bartman. :)
You forgot the 2014 Milwaukee Brewers on this list. My God, how do you have the best record in baseball for over half the season and then not make it to the playoffs?
Great video. But I hate the soundtrack. The highlights can stand on their own.
I love the music added along with the video.
The one with Bartman haunts me to this day
time to add cleveland to this video
Nicky D nah
Sport Entertainment why not they always choke
Nicky D nope
So basically Missouri is clutch and Texas chokes.
Majin Mexican correct
Great video. These are so heartbreaking to watch.
As a true Mets fan the chock haunts me to this day, I cried when Murph and Duda made the errors
I cried also........ in joy😂
I'm am a Rangers fan and both really hurt even though they were both comebacks
I'm a royals fan after they won the World Series i thought to myself what were the mets fans feeling when Murphy and Duda made Those errors
+For Ever Royal Bandwagon
Texas choked in the World Series. The Mets as well. If you look at it that way, they didn't deserve to be the champions. You know what a team is made of when things get tight and both teams faltered, so St. Louis and Kansas City were true champions.
thumbs down, never put music over baseball highlights or comps.
Nice "Lone Survivor-ish" music track.
Thank you for showing the whole part of the Buckner clip.
Your welcome
Yeah, that one really stung until, I'd say, about November 2004. ;)
Stfu, I'd like to see you with nerves in the fall classic trying to make plays bitch
Nathan Hill ur tough bro lol
when cardinals came back in that series my god
goosebumps man. goosebumps.
Doesn’t it just freese up your body? See what I did there
Team of destiny in 2011.
the last 2 clips made me want to drown in a pool of my own blood
rappinbboy15 I feel u
oh i love the music so much in this video. who wants to listen to the baseball sounds?
I wouldn't say these were choked, I would say the opponent clutched
Man a lot of those teams really *blew it*
The Blue Jays, Rangers one HAD to be on here
Good vid lol some of these are greatest clutch moments of all time
8:34 "Unbelievable baserunning by Hosmer!!"
...If that throw is anywhere near the catcher, he's out.
LMAO the music made this priceless!!
What about when mets second baseman dropped an easy pop up by Alex Rodriguez when they won the game??
Besides that, great vid bro!!
What this video showed me: The cardinals that I love are the comeback gods
Why the background music? I can't watch this.
Texas choked a lot lol
I know :(
one strike away is worst
Lost back to back WS with 3-1 leads
+I_ Hakdhu absolutely awful . my dodgers pulled a big choke too up 6 3 lose 10 6
+CD Highlights who's your team ? texas...if they get sale have a great shot this yr
the very last one is probably the best one ever 😂
It's crazy how many of these moments happened just last year
Ikr
The same shit almost happened to the Cubs this year... a big lead blown in the eighth. Thankfully that didn't happen to him. No one deserves that.
Rein Engel not a miracle comeback at all, you can never count out the Cubs
Ryan Jacobs Except for 108 years lol.
2002 World Series Giants blew it.
That Rangers WS choke will always kill me. I wanted so badly to finally win a World Series after all these years, and we gave it away after Cruz failed at that catch. I cry every time (not literally, but internally).
Wii G Same here. Fucking blue jay fans say how great they are yet where were they since 1993
Hate to say it, but the Jays were in the ALCS the past 2 years kicking our butts to get there.
good taste in music boi
The "7th Inning" was insane to watch, the baseball gods tipped the scale in our favor! Go Jays!
thank you for showing the royals in this video
Kim for the Diamondbacks still has nightmares of that 2001 series I'm sure. He might have the ring, but he for sure has PTSD..
And most importantly, no one will forget about the 3-1 chokes by Dodgers and Indians in 2016.
Good Comeback Cubs!
+Epic Baseball Highlights nice vid
Thank you very much
Music kinda ruins the clips
the whole 2015 WS deserves to be in this compilation xD
the mets had a lead in almost all the games... :(
love the soundtrack on this. EitS FTW!!
Giants fan here...more than any team, I feel for those Rangers fans. To come down to being not only one out, but one strike away from winning the World Series, and to have that happen TWICE in the same game!! That would absolutely kill me as a fan!
James Ruzzo to make matters worse, they had a chance to redeem themselves the next night and blew it
James Ruzzo hell yeah it stringed more than a bullet ant especially since I was an 8 year old boy who thought my team was gonna win.
12 years later, Rangers haven’t recovered from this. What a blow to that franchise.
@@elijahadmire6659 there was no way the Rangers were winning game 7 after that collapse. That series was decided after Freeze’s walkoff HR.
Nothing beats the 1986 Red Sox.
Maybe the 04' Red Sox does??...
What a well made video 👍👍
Agreed
I wanna say that I'm over the Bartman play but in reality it's still haunting me
+MadelineTopper I agree
+MadelineTopper It's more the thought that they collapsed for eight runs that's really haunting
You're right, but I concur also with rmk5442 as well. I hope this not a repeat of history if we make the postseason.
Damn the cardinals are clutch
Rangers Jays was the legit choke job. The other plays, someone gave up a hit or a HBP which is out of their control but the Rangers committed like 4 super easy errors in that inning to give the Jays the win.
This is a great video. Great job. It made me both proud and ashamed to be a Red Sox fan.
wow, i never thought of dusty baker as the chokiest manager in baseball history but.... 2002 giants, the "steve bartman game" in chicago, then he was the manager of the 2012 reds when they lost 3 straight at home to the giants in the nlds. poor dusty.
Thumbnail says it all... Mets failures AMPLIFIED
The way Andrus choked is pretty outstandingly awful, especially considering how good of a player he is. One error is one thing, three is another, and three in a row is just really bad. Poor guy must have felt so terrible.
if this was made yesterday then you need to put the Cleveland Indians in this
Game 7 was tied through 9 innings, I wouldn't call that a Choke Moment
nowake 3-1 series lead lead but it was a great game
Looking forward to a rematch!
i like the vid but with the music it's hard to hear the commentary. Granted, it's very good quality. But next time maybe no music?
Great video man
Thanks, I appreciate the nice feedback
this honestly felt like an inspirational video for the teams who won with the music and all that... just saying.
Keep up the great videos, we smaller youtubers have to support each other to stay relevant on the internet
Lmao at the Rangers. Watching them drop the WS was so hard to watch, and I'm an Astros fan
5:54 I think that's the most excited I've seen Joe Buck
While watching the 2001 WS, whenever the Diamondbacks put in Byung Hyun Kim, i knew they were gonna lose any game he pitched in. Thankfully they still won the WS. Im not even a DBacks fan either (A's fan)
That Game 5 Rangers meltdown, that was just one big fluke after another..
Even though I am a Jays fan, Philly melted in game 4 of the 1993 WS. Six runs scored in 8th to take a 15-14 lead and eventual win.
Good request man
92 pirates losing to a guy who was a AAA player
96 the braves blowing that lead in game 4 wouldve been a good on to add. My favorite game of all time. Remember exactly where I was when Leyritz hit that home run.
Couldn't really hear it because of the music. Kind of annoying actually.
love the music btw
that texas 7th inning made me feel so sick inside
This is a good collection of incredible moments in MLB history, however a good amount of these are CLUTCH not CHOKE
Thanks for the support and feedback
that home run from Matt Adam still hurts a little. lol.
It's funny because these "choke moments" are also under the "best comebacks" videos lol
Haha I'm damn sure that fan from the cubs has never gone again to any Baseball game !!
Ugh why would you play over all that great commentary with that music?
I'm gonna cry after this because I'm a indians fan but if you make another of these Cleveland will be in it...
My team isn't even here and this is one of the most heartbreaking videos I've ever seen
As soon as u saw this, who knew the first video was gonna be bill Buckner 🙋🏼♂️.
i love the red sox thing at 2:49
pause at 1:28-1:30 and you will see Clay (Cody Bellinger’s father) filled with joy
Great video!
You just knew The Mets would be on here....
Man all these calls by Joe Buck were amazing! the fans screaming, the authoritative tone of the call, and the ambiance is amazing! my favourite is 5:49 "driven into right!.....it is....gone!!" I leaped from my couch in that game!
Kershaw could have a whole segment to himself.
Poor Bill Buckner....honestly....for all the torment he has received since that day, no one curses out the bullpen, nonetheless the game was already tied when the ball went under his legs.
The 04 Red Sox are one of, if not THE greatest sports stories in history.
I agree
is that explosions in the sky playing in the background?
Yep
Oh he hangs it, you bang it
*If
He hung it, so I BUNG it!
it really wasn't bartman's fault. i blame the shortstop. he made an error the very next play
Dodgers Gaming that's exactly what I said, but I'm glad they finally won it in 2016
