OMG thank you for this!! I’ve missed Akiza so much since the series ended. I love how it’s the same voice actress who played her all those years ago doing the new lines for the game. This is probably the closest thing to new Akiza content. I hope they bring her back to the shows someday or maybe even give her her own show.
Konami is merely preparing for the updates that are to come in Duel Links without having the need to call the actors back for a few extra lines, that way if you choose to play with pendulum cards with Akiza/Aki she won't just be like "I play a card". Her and everyone else will feel like they're fully integrated with the ZEXAL and ARC-V updates by being a bit more specific with the type of card their playing. ie Aki/Akiza stating she is setting the Pendulum Scales.

Even though Mai was definitely the og best female back in the day, I gotta say once Akiza and Alexis hit the scene, she took a backseat to both of them. However, there IS Rebecca, who's another good female duelist. I wish I could see Alexis, Rebecca, Mai and Akiza face off in a duel to really determine who's the top female in all of duel monsters

It'll be funny if they gave her lines with Aromages' they and their support fit well with her deck it's a surprise there's no 5Ds reboot fanfic giving her this deck after her and Yusei's 2nd duel showing her growth which ties into her role and future as a protector and healer which pays off with her becoming a head nurse as Aroma's support effects work on healing as Aki's LP would restore itself which gives all monsters Akiza control more strength as far as the decks field spell is concerned. Of course she'd need a Continous Spell or Trap with a similar if not outright copy of the field spells effect for Turbo Duels.
These videos are the best I use these voice lines to build my character themed decks so knowing who says what for what card is always super helpful hoping for Luna next need some major help with a Luna themed Deck Leo's easy cuz you just throw Morptronic's in a deck and bam Leo Deck

No only to materialize duel monster effects she then lost that power where she gained the power to heal people instead
