Sis Nanelle, first of all thank you for this information but please i will be grateful if you can clarify this for me, i am a Ghanaian nurse who is done with rotation but haven't been posted yet, i am done with cbt and ielts and will like to consider self sponsorhip. Please my problem now is that, i have a sponsor who will be sponsoring me fully, i mean osce fees, accommodation, flight, etc i mean everything but i personally don't have any proof of personal funds but my sponsor has every document, please will i be successful in my visa application to sit for the osce without proof of personal bank statement or funds? Is my sponsor's documents including her proof of funds and other stuffs enough without my personal bank statement? That is my worry right now because i don't have that money in my account. Thank you and hoping to hear from you soon 🙏

Nanelle , considering how long it takes to get the work visa, should you follow this route to the uk, pass your exam, apply and get the job and now have to go back to your country for the work visa. My question is, won't the agency or the hospital nullify the sponsorship if the commencement date of the work is elapsing and u are not still in the uk to start or they later find out you only came to the uk for the exam and went back to your country?

I personally called UK nmc why it was taking almost a month to get a verification. That was when they said, Ghana nmc had replied the email they sent them but had done it wrongly. Gh nmc was supposed to open a link in the email and answer a series of questions about me. Instead, they just replied that I was registered with them which wasn’t acceptable by UK nmc. I had to ask UK nmc to resend the link to Ghana again and I contacted Gh nmc to follow the right steps. If I had not called UK nmc personally, I would have still been waiting for verification from them. So contact them.

The issue is that they are 'morally bound' not to recruit from red listed countries, not like they are short of funds to sponsor people. So after having PIN and returning to your country, you'd still need to apply from there. Wouldn't the agency still be bound by same regulations forbidding recruiting from such countries despite your PIN?

You’ll even get a job before you reach your country. You’re a fully registered UK NURSE OO … don’t forget that. You’re just like someone like me (only without uk experience) I know more than 10 (nurses and midwives from red list countries) that used this route . There was no hustle

Many thanks for this video. I got an offer in the UK. Start date on the COS was 2nd December. Employer said it can be extended by 28 days, making new start date to be 30th December. Due to some issues in paperwork, I won't be able to do my biometrics until 22nd December or thereabouts. Obviously, visa won't be out until January. This means I will still not make the 30th December new start date. Is there any reason to be worried?

Naaah it’s not a problem. Check the expiration on the COS that’s what is more important. Start date isn’t really a big deal

@@NanelleGriselda But loking at how long it takes to receive the work visa from the date of application, what if you dont get the visa before the date for commencement of the job. Plus wouldnt it be an issue if the employer then finds out you are not residing in the uk but temporarily came around only to get a job and move back to your home country???
