It was the very first MSX game I played, I have always loved it and it is still fun to play today :)
The penguin one looks fun
Antarctic Adventure is a really fun easy to get into game. There is a sequel called Penguin Adventure that adds more to the gameplay.
40 years old. still playing. great game of Konami.

I am having a tough time distinguishing the difference between MSX version of Antarctic Adventure and the Colecovision version. They both look great. Awesome video.
Famicom version has a propeller hat power up
Yep pretty much identical, the sound is probably a bit richer on this one due to the better sound chip.
Ingrid's Back should be on diskette, then you get graphics. Goes for both L9 adventures.
It doesn’t list a MSX version on disc in the manual but that doesn’t mean they didn’t release it a bit later than this version. With graphics would be cool.
@@electricadventures IDK about MXS either, just C64 version & possibly ZX128, Amstrad or BBC.
Oh Mummy doesn't appear to work properly. Or at least it isn't like the Amstrad and Spectrum versions. Normally you will see footprints so you are aware of what part of the screen you have been.
It might be that I was playing it on a MSX 2, which can use a different palette, I might try it again on a MSX 1. Not being able to see where I had been made it very hard.
