Thats easier said than done, trust me is way harder to climb silver with tanks than supports or dps mainly because you are the only way of team protection but if your team is a bunch of careless people with potato aim you will die faster trying to protect them

I hate that, i was using reaper ult full health, took out junkrat and kiriko and sigma had barely 50 hp and a lifeweaver pulled me like 6 meters and the sigma saved himself because he was near a big health pack, meanwhile we both died to a zen and 76 duo 😒
Love the Sigma vids as he's my main on tank! I'd love to see a video dedicated to Sigma in general though, rather than a reactionary video, if that makes sense? These spectating vids are also educational, but I'd totally watch very long-form educational content from Emongg if he decided to put something like that out
This is probably closer to a gold lobby, and this player looks like the kind of player that's overall better than their rank but probably is struggling with either really bad consistency issues or specific habits that are holding them back.
The thing about agressive anti nades now is that it only works if they don't have kiriko. If they do have kiriko and she uses suzu, you will literally heal the enemy team by a total of 50 hp per target hit vs the damage it does. Also suzu has a bigger aoe radius (5m vs 4 on nade) and faster traveltime (35 vs 30) and ofcourse gives immortality etc.
nade has a shorter cooldown, so even with an enemy Kiriko, they won't be able to cleanse every nade you throw. plus, there are other uses for suzu so enemy Kiriko may not always have it available for nade. it also may be worth the trade BECAUSE suzu has other uses. if Kiriko cleanses anti nade, then they can't cleanse or have burst healing or have invincibility frames for X, Y, and Z abilities/ults. basically, it's complicated.

Sig shield so delicate that it’s better to block enemy utility/heals/ burst damage and to turn around and protect team from the dive

This honestly looked like a bronze lobby to me. Silver players would punish his mistakes much harder.
This was a gold lobby as the description of the person stated because their friend is plat on support.

I like to treat my shield as a way to deal with burst damage and to block off angles from a widow or ash. Comp dependent ofc
