Honestly same man everytime I get an Aatrox ult reset it just triggers my instincts to keep fighting, who knows I might just pull off an Aatrox moment with low hp against 3 enemies

Do people who think anti heal doesn't do anything get even a little ashamed when they see how close fights are between aatrox and mordekaiser just because his anti heal item makes Aatrox's whole lead useless?

People still say antiheal is useless, they are mental, you nearly halfe their fucking healing! ONLY 800 GOLD. BUY IT
That's isn't the problem. It's the fact you are spending 800 gold on an item that delays power spikes and may not even be applied when you need it most
Also tank stats are almost as good at cutting healing from vamp sources whilst also keeping your own health higher
The whole problem is in anti heal items
Mages’ antiheal is a very good item with fine stats for 800
Tank item has also good stats for 800
But the freakin sword for AD this item gives you only 15 damage for 800 ==> even if you have antiheal you now don’t have any damage to deal with this shit
Sometimes you just need to hope that someone on your team will buy it and play for future, just don’t feed
P.S. AD antiheal works in my case only on pantheon because this mf has a lot of damage without good starting items
As a toplaner, I take ignite vs matchups that can heal a lot. Stuff like Aatrox, Darius, Irelia and so on

he'd have more damage with Liandry's. Riftmaker's healing stacks too slowly to be useful, at least from what I've experienced.

@@blacklight1104 yeah but *riftmaker would give more damage and if he managed to poke aatrox either by q/e or getting hit my aatrox q1 he'd probably have it stacked up for ult. I do think ghost/Ignite or ghost/tp mightve been better here since ghost would allow him to maybe dodge q's and w pull as it lasts longer, has shorter cd and let's him engage/disengage better.
Liandries deals much more than riftmaker.

The problem with Morde players this season is that they still rush Rylais in every matchup. Rift + Liandry combo is a must against melees. Morde is much stronger than last season, even in higher elos.
rylais vs champions that want to space is still better. and aatrox will try to space you. even against darius rylais is the obvious choice.

There no telport in wild rift only u can get it through boots upgrade and most of toplane take flash, ignite so to make it simple u can have all 3 but boots upgrade have other options
The reason for this is that playing in the Wild Rift requires less time, especially when you know that they have the speed to return to the base. In addition to that, the map is smaller, I think, so there is no reason to add a teleport.
Man mordekaiser gets kitted so easily
I noticed you went dorans blade start this time. What's the reasoning behind blade over shield? What matchups do you pick blade?
I think its because Aatrox basically loose a lot of matchup, so you need the sustain of shield, but when you can win a matchup easily like with that poor dude you can go blade because you dont really get out poked and you sustain well enough out of blade + you get dmg
Never really played aatrox btw but its my opinion correct if im wrong
go shield+second wind if u can get poked out easily (mostly ranged matchups and a few melee bullies) also take comet+scorch vs ranged since it enables u to trade back more easy

@@unbelieverr tbh comet+scorch is a questionable choice of Nayil, it rly isn't worth cuz aatrox's q is rly high cd early and comet doesn't even deal that much damage. Imo always better to get conq cuz you know for sure later in game it gonna proc no matter what

But if they buff him to be decent on high elos he will probably be even more of a low elo monster.

Morde players need ignite against people they dont beat, like at all.
Riven, garen, darius, irelia tp is workable around them.
Aatrox, Trundle, Fiora yea i need that ignite to have a chance of beating them

you were using the item haste rune, but no item that benefits from that. Did you change your mind on the itemization thought the game?

@@isislikesyou8605 hey, I thought that too, but ran the test in training, filling up all the 5 charges of the rune and it was still 6 seconds (using a timer)

Ingenious hunter gives item haste, aatrox goes multiple items that have cd so the rune is worthwhile.

Mordekaiser was bad at itemizing against aatrox. mordekaiser should have gone thornmail and armor boots instead then into rylais. He didn't have any lead to fight against Aatrox he can only out tank him.
Meh I think riftmaker/liandrys with ghost would've been better than thornmail cause early aatrox can evade the grevious wounds very easily, plus the reduced healing is likely enough for aatrox to outdamage base stat morde with only bramble.
@@Quarkee yeah its possible but the Mordekaisers gameplay and constant fights against aatrox at the early game made it so that he cant get to that item liandrys and riftmaker. Which gave Aatrox more of a lead to work with and more damage as well. The safe play would be to get a tank item then see if you can out stat and heal aatrox. A lot of things should be considered we are just speculating what might have happened if. Plus you cant evade a thornmails heal reduction as aatrox always weaves auto attack plus you have amor as well to reduce damage. Another viable item should be spectre cowl for the regen on hit.
Armor boots rush is best play into aatrox esp. with ignite, ignite plus ult and dodge qs with full boots should be free wins early, but would still go morellos next over thornmail to prevent aatrox free q poke heals, decent aatrox will press tab see thornmail and not auto you outside of passive autos after q rotation. With antiheal and ult you will always be able to win 1v1 against aatrox assuming you arent significantly behind, hard part is stopping him from running over your team if you have to ult someone else.

i find the morde matchup realy hard worst than fiora , he is one of these champ that can still kill me when i have 3 or 4 kill lead, watching your game and seing you so close to die each time show it perfectly
