  • Meet Paul Berger. Husband, manager, and a person I randomly met on an airplane. After a little conversation. It turned out that he didn't lived too far from my studio and we joked about him being on the podcast. A few conversations later, this happened.
Everyone has a story and Paul is no different.

Thank you so much for talking so openly about everything! I didn’t know, that I’m not alone with connecting so deeply to movie characters. They have been my „friends“ for a long time in my life as well. And as you said: „Things from the movies can become reality.“ Last year I changed my life and was always like „Oh my god, I feel like being in a movie“, because I experienced so many new amazing things.

I love when people are able to connect with the guest of the show, it's very hard to be vulnerable in a space like this. I am sure that they also feel better knowing that there are people out there connecting to their story. That's why comments like yours are so important. Who knows, maybe one day you will be a guest and will benefit from the same feedback :)

I am amazed at the courage of the people on Melding Minds to reveal themselves to everyone out there. This particular podcast, although longer than some of the others in the series, really grabbed me.
Sharing the difficulties of childhood thinking and behaviour.
Being open about an addiction and its effect on friends.
Appreciating friends who stuck it out through thick and thin, and understanding those who didn't.
Recognising those who make it their daily business to help others, e.g. teachers, often without recognition from the general public.
Last but certainly not least, the key to serenity, and I quote Paul: “Being able to like who you are and where you are” I absolutely agree, although it's one of the hardest things to achieve.
Big thumbs up to Crombie and his incredible ability to actively listen and create a safe space for his guests to open up.

I am also surprised but pleasantly surprised. In a time where we statistically feel more alone than we ever have, knowing that other people are struggling with or going/went through went the same things you are can make you feel less isolated. And that is a step towards feel seen and not always feeling "invisible".
