This video is great and really interesting and deserves way more likes. I’m thinking of getting a rigid heddle loom and didn’t realise how much you could do on it and had been looking at four shaft table top looms thinking that’s what I needed to do more complex weaves. Really have to do more research but I love how you explain with depth; as someone who’s only ever woven on a mini square loom I can still understand you!
This is so perfect for me as a beginner weaver (24” Ashford rigid heddle). My weaver friends want me to get a big floor loom, but I’m so excited to see what I could do with what I have 😊😊😊 You are very inspiring, and I’m hoping you have more videos!!
Hello, thank you very much for this very inspiring video. I don't speak English but thanks to the translation I understand almost everything. I subscribed and I will follow you because you have a vision of weaving that I really like. In short, a big congratulations.
Your channel is a breath of fresh air. Can’t wait for your next video. I’ve just thought the book on 3 shaft weaving and finding it very exciting. My first project has been a structure called Flesberg, which is like Krokbragd but different. It took me ages to figure out the principles of threading but I did finally get it. Now I need to finish that and get my hands on some linen! Bye for now, Jane, Western Australia.
There is a weaving UA-camr who is vlogging about going through that 4 shaft Hand-weaver's pattern directory on a rigid heddle. She's approaching it as documenting her learning process. I believe her name is Amy McNight.
I am excited to find your channel. I just got my first loom, a 20 inch Beka Fold and Go. I am very excited about all the possibilities and was very inspired by your weaving. Thank you for showing your finished objects! Beautiful.
Please keep making these. I just bought a 16” rigid heddle loom and have so much to learn. So far, I REALLY enjoy choosing colors, and they seem to turn out nice. But my edges are wonky, and I can’t figure out why. The opposite side to the side I start with using a new color seems to bulk out. I’ve tried everything. And I can’t seem to find a UA-cam video that explains how to fix this. I’d love to learn more. And you are very easy to listen to and relatable. 👍🏻
Thank you! There is a the method I use from Sara Bixler and it works really well. I am so glad you like my ramblings and I hope you keep weaving! ua-cam.com/video/w6S5bzCa_KE/v-deo.html
I appreciate your support! I have a few years before I am at the weaving level I want to be. There are also a few resources being worked on right now! We'll see what the future holds...
Have you come across the Complex Weavers? In the latest issue of the magazine they have put out a call for someone with knowledge of photographing textiles. I think you’d be perfect for the job.

Now I know who you are! I purchased the Chelsea towel pattern from you but had problems with Esty and you helped me. Thank you again.

I absolutely love your enthusiasm! Great video!
Carly there is a really big opportunity for you to write a book and invent the language and notation for 3 shaft weaves on the RHL.
