If you like this style of ADTR you'll love these tracks: A Shot In The Dark Welcome To The Family Show´ Em The Ropes Life Lessons Learned The Hard Way You Be Tails, I'll Be Sonic
Also I never knew until recently that the song title is a reference to the movie "The Good Son" where the character Mr. Highway was a humanoid doll that the child (played by Macaulay Calkin) liked to throw off a bridge into traffic. Hence the title "Mr. Highway's thinking about the end".
ADTR is one of my favorite bands, mostly because of songs with a "poppy" sound. They were one of my gateways into heavy songs around 10 years ago, will always be grateful for that as I have learned a lot of great songs because of it. Love it. Also shows that the band is not a one trick pony, which I always appreciate. But I do het where you are coming from, seeing what you do and don't like from the reactions on this channel. I agree with others that 2nd sucks is also a good heavier song, it is a short one tho
"Mr. Highway's Thinking About the End" is a quote from Macaulay Culkin's character in "The Good Son". He pushes a fake body off an overpass into traffic to cause a pileup cus he's a little psychopath
Gotta check out 2nd sucks! From what I’ve heard it was written as a breakdown for another song but it was so long they just made it it’s own song, I’ve also heard it is directed at the band four years strong 🤘
-Sometimes you’re the hammer, sometimes you’re the nail, -Dead and buried, -Heartless, -2nd sucks, -You Be Tails, I’ll be sonic, -Life lessons learned the hard way, -The documents speak for themselves, -Welcome to the family
You came onto them late, their old stuff was pretty heavy but they're a little older now so they have to "meet the standard" but their old shit was aggressive and it was so good back then
Even over shit like slaughter to prevail, acrania, early job for a cowboy and most brutal deathcore this breakdown is top notch as far as getting me amped. DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS! Xtexas chainsawX And beyond deviation for example blow them out of the water though.
you should check bad vibrations album, is sick! Other songs to check: Sometimes You're the Hammer... Nail, Dead & Burried, Violence, 2nd Sucks, Life Lessons Learned The Hard Way
Haha the exact reason you don’t like them is the exact reason that I love them. It’s good for people starting out and wanting to get into more metalcore and those genres and starting with something that has screaming but also pop punk singing and those vibes with it.
Pretty much any album before their newest are fuckin brutal and they have some poppy stuff but nothing like your welcome. You'll love pretty much bad vibrations and before albumwise. They even made a metalcore kelly Clarkson cover. That was actually amazing .
You listen the their latest release of course it will be poppy sound, go check out their very early album. For Those Who Have Heart & And Their Name Was Treason, and work your way out from there. Anyway I can't understand for the life of me listening to ADTR and not expecting poppy sound, lol man, they are knows as the poppiest metalcore/post hardcore band ever, they basically inventing this sound.
Sticks and Bricks, 2nd Sucks, Heartless, Violence, Holdin it down for the underground, (they’re also my favorite band so this makes me happy you reacted to them again 😃)
This song is as good as it gets from them, but "2nd Sucks" and "Life Lessons Learned the Hard Way" are aggressive the whole time and have no clean vocals. We have similar taste so it wouldn't surprise me if you enjoyed those.
They changed their sound a lot lately. ADTR is a top 3 favorite band of all time for me, but I’m also not a fan of the newer sound on stuff like Mindreader.

Heartless. Warped Tour 2011. That wall of death was fucking legendary.
Imagine some parent taking their 15-yr old to the show after they heard the collab with Marshmello...then they open with 2nd sucks, lmao
If you like this style of ADTR you'll love these tracks:
A Shot In The Dark

You Be Tails, I'll Be Sonic
Heartless, Sticks and Bricks
This guy's pretty much got it... I'd also add "The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle"
And "You should have killed me when you have the time" and "Sometimes you're nail and sometimes you're the tail"
2nd Sucks!
Check out “the plot to bomb the panhandle” by them. You’ll dig that.
I'd recommend "I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?" It's similar to the song you reacted to, except just a bit better imo.
Yooooooo lets go!!! “A day to remember - welcome to the family”
Check out their song Sometimes You’re The Hammer, Sometimes You’re The Nail
Sticks and bricks is a really good heavy one. Also anything from there “for those who have a heart” album will perfectly fit that description
One of their most underrated sounds that’s heavy is “Holdin it Down for the Underground”
You started with their new stuff. Only makes sense if you appreciate their old stuff. Glad you’re getting into it!
2nd sucks is a great one too! I saw these guys live with Blink-182 and Travis Barker played the drums during this song. Such a great song.
A Day To Remember - Exposed. Really heavy... REALLY HEAVY!
“This is aggressive!”
Yes.
Yes it is. Lol
All of their albums are about 50/50. Half heavy, half pop punk. They are a great band though, you should give them a chance.
Also I never knew until recently that the song title is a reference to the movie "The Good Son" where the character Mr. Highway was a humanoid doll that the child (played by Macaulay Calkin) liked to throw off a bridge into traffic. Hence the title "Mr. Highway's thinking about the end".
sometime you'r the hammer, sometime you'r the nail. plz listen this i can cry and headbang in the same time.

As I Lay Dying: Nothing Left. Then a follow up reaction of As I Lay Dying: The Sound of Truth. The videos go together and are amazing!
"Mr. Highway's Thinking About the End" is a quote from Macaulay Culkin's character in "The Good Son". He pushes a fake body off an overpass into traffic to cause a pileup cus he's a little psychopath
Life Lessons Learned The Hard Way- ADTR
Probably one the hardest songs they have! Must watch!
THE DOCUMENT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF
Gotta check out 2nd sucks! From what I’ve heard it was written as a breakdown for another song but it was so long they just made it it’s own song, I’ve also heard it is directed at the band four years strong 🤘

Great reaction man. Check out A Shot in the Dark by ADTR. My favorite song of theirs since high school haha 👍
Glad i have your approval.
A day to remember has one of those sounds you just get lost in ...
You came onto them late, their old stuff was pretty heavy but they're a little older now so they have to "meet the standard" but their old shit was aggressive and it was so good back then
That ending could be its own song tbh - gave me emo vibes
Even over shit like slaughter to prevail, acrania, early job for a cowboy and most brutal deathcore this breakdown is top notch as far as getting me amped. DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS!
Xtexas chainsawX And beyond deviation for example blow them out of the water though.
you should check bad vibrations album, is sick! Other songs to check: Sometimes You're the Hammer... Nail, Dead & Burried, Violence, 2nd Sucks, Life Lessons Learned The Hard Way
Life lessons learned the hard way - dude you have to check that song out by them
You def need to check out "Bad Vibrations" by them. Pretty similar song. A little bit newer though!
Yeah, they get mad and it's dope. "2nd Sucks" "Exposed" and "Bullfight"
Please react to Tarja - Supremacy (live Woodstock 2016). Just amazing! What a voice!
Machine Head - Halo (full version) You will not be disappointed
U should try The Acacia Strain or August Burns Red. Another band is Lionheart or Rise of the Northstar.
You gotta check out The Dangers in Starting a Fire by ADTR , just trust me man this shit SLAMS
Haha the exact reason you don’t like them is the exact reason that I love them. It’s good for people starting out and wanting to get into more metalcore and those genres and starting with something that has screaming but also pop punk singing and those vibes with it.

If you like this you’ll like, pretty much all of What Separates Me From You, For Those Who Have Heart, and Homesick albums.
Sticks and Bricks, 2nd Sucks, Heartless, Violence, Holdin it down for the underground, (they’re also my favorite band so this makes me happy you reacted to them again 😃)
You'll Be Tails I'll Be Sonic and 2nd Sucks have to be next from this band, my two favorite songs by them
Their best song ever made in my opinion is “Holding it down for the underground” same album. Best song they’ve ever made
If you want something heavy from them , Id suggest Heartless from their For Those Who Have Heart album. Such a great fuckin album.
Listen to Exposed.. probably heaviest breakdown.
PLEASE CHECK OUT "SOMETIME YOU'RE HAMMER, SOMETIME YOU'RE NAIL"
Please bury tomorrow. I think you gonna like this band
CARNIFEX - HELL CHOSE ME
You gotta try VIOLENCE by them
Lookup "Heartless"
There first 3 or 4 albums are heavy. There last 2 albums have been more pop punk ish. They've always mixed both genres together tho
Definitely 2nd Sucks and Sticks and Bricks next.
😍😍😍😍😍
Dude, give a look to You'll be tails, I'll be sonic, guess youre gonna like it
This song is as good as it gets from them, but "2nd Sucks" and "Life Lessons Learned the Hard Way" are aggressive the whole time and have no clean vocals. We have similar taste so it wouldn't surprise me if you enjoyed those.
Please react to "X" by Poppy!
React to Sticks & Bricks
They changed their sound a lot lately. ADTR is a top 3 favorite band of all time for me, but I’m also not a fan of the newer sound on stuff like Mindreader.
Some of their heaviest songs - 2nd Sucks, Sticks & Bricks, You Be Tails I’ll Be Sonic.

Pliss React Revenge The Fate - DARK ERA

OG ADTR is soooo much better. I cant get into new music for that reason. Its so sad when bands throw pop music into their beautiful heavy music
React to Attila
Most of there older stuff is heavier. Some of the new stuff isn't on par with the good old stuff.
They have so many better ones
A Day to Remember - 2nd Sucks
This guy needs to listen to 2nd sucks
Just stick to this album.
