Big Summer Rock Bass

Probably the most under rated freshwater fish out there, targeting summer rock bass can be a blast during the hot summer days. They taste delicious, and they fight like a champ. We target them with drop-shot and Ned rigs, and for this video I combined both.

I catch alot of Rockies on the Ontario side of Lake of the Woods. Never thought of targeting them, might change now! I bought the same plastics. Another winner of a video sir.

They taste like walleyes too. We usually do a big fish fry around the 4th, but walleye fishing was good this year, so we just ate them!

We fish a lake up north that has monster Rock Bass in it. Caught one through the ice that was 12.5" & weighed 1lb 14oz. They sure do fight good.
