Fun tip for anyone who wants it!
You can make roles specifically for color (Red role, Green Role, etc) and give it no special permissions nor let it be seen separate. Have it ABOVE any role you want to be affected by the name change, and have a bot (I like Carl Bot) that lets them select the color roles. Their name will change colors. :)
