I've been meaning to get properly into the fluff for a while, and a series like this is perfect for me to continue being lazy about it, haha. You have a great speaking voice that's effortless to listen to, as well. Please keep up this series throughout N4!

I didn't like them much because I just thought they were the enemy but their back story is actually pretty epic and makes sense with their in-game abilities. I'm very excited to dive more into Haqq, Ariadna (especially now), Aleph and all the other factions.

I just discovered this channel and like it already. I'm sort of familiar with the lore of Infinity, but I wonder if it would be worthwhile to make a video about the history of the game itself, the people behind Corvus Belli, major changes throughout the editions, etc.

As others have said you have an engaging voice and accessible style.
The RPG books for Infinity have tons of setting information and I really recommend them for getting more details about the current status quo and parts of the history of the Human Sphere. There's also a book for the CA giving a lot more details about them, including some things about how they came to be. With #infinityN4 they will push the setting 5 years forward, and add more focus on space battles and the attacks of the CA on Concilium (we'll see how that happens), so I kinda expect to see more fluff about the CA, O-12, Aleph and maybe the Nomads, who are the default space-faring faction, after all. I just hope they take more of a Shasvasti terrorism and piracy direction and less of a "Paradiso fell, now let's fight for the next planet".

Thank you for this awesome lore overview. It was one of my first contacts with infinity and made me excited to dive deeper. For me this also led to a strong bond between infinity and the music you are playing in the background. Could you tell me its title and the artist who made it?
Haven't gotten into Infinity just yet per se, but looking into it and hoping to get into it properly in the coming weeks. I'd love to know more about Aleph and the Evolved Intelligence as characters. AIs have the potential to be very interesting characters (SHODAN is one of my favorite videogame villains) It seems like the obvious story thread is to use them as foils and frame at least part of the Human-Combined conflict as a personal face off between the two super powered AIs
I’m really interested to see CB explore this area as well. The idea that the Human Sphere is guided (controlled) by an all-powerful AI is interesting enough. The fact their enemy is also controlled by some sort of AI is very enticing. What if the two are actually one and the same and the conflicts are part of a wider plan?
I have the older starter boxes for Combined Army and YuJing. Looking at the CodeOne stat blocks, these older models seem to be missing. Can I expect N4 to include these older models? Thank you for the fluff video.
Corvus Belli recently posted on their Facebook page a list of models that will be discontinued and I don’t recall seeing any Yu Jing or Combined Army on the list.

There’s a channel called WarLore that does some great infinity lore content 😃. Otherwise the N4 core book has a lot, the Infinity RPG has heaps and Downfall is a novel with the lore in it.

Who isn’t tempted by a faction with a zero gravity bear? Once my tournament is done in October I will be looking at another faction but good to see how N4 settee first 😄 any recommendations??

@@the_infinitygamer Without well built world and interesting lore and backstory backing themup (Just like Warhammer) to justify the price, I just can't force myself buying these expensive miniature and dedicating time for it. Currently it feels like buying a expensive call girl for a one night stand instead of going on a expensive date with a hot girl that will last longer than one night. You know what i mean.
I’d like to say I can grasp the analogy but hey 😂 I do agree that there isn’t enough lore but I find the game is so fun and the minis nice but everyone is different. I didn’t get massively into the lore with 40k so it was easy for me to look past the minimal lore here 😃

Interesting proposed history in light of current international developments. Decidedly incorporating failed woke and socialists philosophies.... easy enough though to accept as a possible future history.

You could get the printed rulebook. It comes with a faction and unit background write up of pretty much everything!

The lore of 40k is on a completely different level to infinity. There’s no comparing the two and it’s definitely one thing I love about 40k.

Cool backstory but this is the only one i found and haven't found any other story and novels about it and the miniatures are too expensive.
