- Brady has filmed many different hunts in every condition imagineable, and this is the one sleeping bag he always goes for if the temps are going to be below 50. He's spent two years in it, and is still a fan. Here's why.

I’ve had this bag for awhile now. It has been awesome through all types of weather. I have broad shoulders and this bag fits me perfectly. If you are on the fence just buy it. You will not regret it. Love the channel. New subscriber.
Glad to hear it!
Fantastic review! You are very good at explaining the gear, and creating a great video. Hats off to you. Subscribed and looking forward to future gear reviews :)

One of the best explanations I have seen of down sleeping bag mechanics. Very helpful. What inflatable pad are you using with this bag?
Thank you! I have been using the ExPed Winter Down Mat and am very happy with it so far. The Medium is a little small for me but it's very comfortable and warm.
@@gearfool Thank you, this has been very helpful.
This is a great bag ..
I'm sold

Would you recommend this or the 15 degree for a bow hunter in Montana?
I'm a bit stuck on the fence between the Chilkoot 0 and 15. The 15 packs smaller and it's lighter, seems ideal for using a Seek Outside or Argali stove tent. I usually hunt solo so size and weight are important to me. That said, maybe the 0 would keep me from having to pack in the stove as often. I'm new to having a stove on back country hike-ins, I've always just carried stupid heavy/bulky bags. Do you run a stove tent? Any thoughts? AWESOME breakdown of the bag, it's the best review out there. Cheers.
If I were in your shoes, I would go for the 0 degree bag. The pack size, and weight is only slightly higher than the 15, and you will definitely be warmer.
Also, my experience with packable stoves is that they require constant attention. I have never been on a hunt where a stove allowed me to adjust my sleep system, because they will always go out and leave you just as cold as you would be without it. It's more of a comfort/drying tool in my opinion. I hope this helps! -Brady
@@gearfool Brady thank you for the reply. I am definitely going with the 0 degree bag. I'm not a bow hunter (yet) and should probably stop trying to pack like one. Also just going to limit the stove idea for when i need a solid drying option. Appreciate ya brotha! -Damien
The only time i run a stove is when it's below 0.
Great video! That is a great bag. Nice review. New follower here. Crow✌️
Thanks for the sub!
I love to try and flip gear but the 0deg chilkoot will never be sold and that says a lot.
