Just a heads up that the entirety of this playthrough took place BEFORE the "Hive-Five" yoyo was added to the game! Just figured I'd clear that up since it looks like over half of the comments are about that. We do not make mistakes.We cannot make mistakes.
Should try this run with other weapons like making the zenith sword or doing all the magic weapons

That was me teaching my bf to play terraria, she was so damn scared of fighting The eye of Cthulhu that she got platinum armor and basically best pre boss gear, while I was going with cacti armor 🤣

This has to be the best introduction to Terraria possible, going through all five phases of a Terraria playthrough within just early pre-hardmode!

LOL, that’s exactly me and my friends. I’m new to terraria and decided to start medium core and legendary mode. Definitely not a good time, started about a week about but having friends that die just as much as you definitely helps! Just beat skelelatron . Seeing this video and watching him not get two shotted by a slime is a first for me!
Dude this is basically my pain for getting the zenith me and my friends had to farm plantera 30 times to get a seedler i suppose this was payback due to me getting rod of discord litteraly before palladium armor

I just started playing terraria and spawned near corruption so when I randomly got ancient armor I decided " welp guess I'm farming these eater dudes for a bit to get the set" ... I have killed 500+ eaters and keep getting the chest plate
Ya know… maybe yall aren’t the best at terraria… but I’ll be damned if this isn’t the most entertaining terraria experience I’ve ever watched. The moon lord coaster is genuinely one of the best ways I’ve seen anyone try and fight that boss lol

To be fair, the slime bosses have always been weirdly sidelined in terms of boss-specific stuff compared to their counterparts.

Yoyo-only wall of flesh, prior to the introduction of the hive five, was probably the single worst matchup for a specific weapon type (at least, a weapon type that can last the whole game) against a specific boss in the entire game.

Right? I thought summoners were supposed to be underpowered but every boss in pre-hardmode after I killed Queen Bee early was a pushover. Seeing that amount of struggle against the Wall of Flesh was pretty shocking.
I love watching the statues pile up next to the base as the video goes on 😂
that was literally my first playthrough. my friend with 1000 hours was just collecting every statue and building a museum for them next to the base while i was just there like "so what do they even do?"

I played maybe a couple of hours of Terraria close to a decade ago, and I'm always shocked at the depth this game has. This video was actually a really good intro into the general progression of the game. It was also a heart-wrenching, inspiring watch. Keep it up :)

@@jonathantorres3589 sword shrines are very rare in your world and aren’t even guaranteed in every world, by clicking on the shrine you’ll receive the enchanted sword which is a game changer early pre hardmode and the sword is required to make the zenith( strongest sword in the game )

Also I feel like Charlie is the type of person to think they have armor equipped *but in reality they just have it in the Vanity Slots.*

For future if you’re using the witch’s broom you do not need to wear wings or the balloon and these can be replaced with combat/ defence accessories

I actually think you would've been better off going for orichalcum armor than titanium armor. The damage potential is simply better, especially for multiple targets (which is big considering all of the mech bosses are actually multi-target fights).

I remember the first time I killed the wall of flesh… I started playing terraria in first grade with my brother and a neighbor. We played together everyday for years and years. I pretended to be the human form of Lepus lol. (We played mobile) we were too scared to kill the wall of flesh so we got the best armor and weapons and everything. We were so serious about it heh. Finally when I was in third grade, we tried killing the wall … and got it first try😭😭 like all it took was a couple bombs and a few hits and it was downnn. I remember we all screamed and jumped up, we were all so accomplished. It was a huge moment in my life. My mom came into the room to see why we were cheering and I just said, “WE DID IT WE KILLED THE WALL OF FLESH WE ACTUALLY DID IT!” She thought we were crazy lmaooo! Terraria will always be very special to me. Especially Lepus and the wall of flesh. Great video, as always. I’m so glad terraria still has an amazing community 🖤🖤

Yo-yos are an interesting weapon in terraria, because they are fundamentally an over power concept in a 2D game. But Because they can only do damage on a tiny dot on your screen they are extremely bad at killing some enemies. (Cough* wall of flesh). But insanely good at kill enemies like Skeletron, where you want to specifically target his hands then his head.
Yo-yos have always been interesting to me in this game.
y'all building an actual house for some of the npcs confused me until i remembered that not everyone builds utilitarian wooden spires.
