Re: why the black boots were easier; lower angle heel. If you compare the height of the heel to the height of the ball/toes, the ones that were easier for you to walk in were closer to flat, as compared to the "ballet" toe shoes with stiletto heels. 🙂

There was a company in germany, years ago, that sold extreme heeled boots and shoes, for heeled shoes and boots lovers, and enthusiasts.
You could buy a pair of stilettos with 30cm heel, and nothing in front. You only had them on when you were sitting at the bar, on a stool.
And the most extreme was a pair of boots with 1meter of heel(I think the front about 10-12cm lower), and I remember them costing something above €5000.
Either the site has closed down long ago, or they stopped selling those items, 'cause I can't find it anymore

Strippers literally dance in these heels for several hours at a time, several days of the week, do whole ass pole tricks in them, and only get to take breaks from the shoes when doing lapdances or in the dressing room. Probably shouldn’t have started with them so being so high, but you didn’t know to begin with when buying them that they are dancer heels. But once you break them in, they’re literally so much more comfortable than regular high heels. I would absolutely go out in my 10 inch pleasers on a night out instead of regular heels.
So true - Pleasers are like the ATHLETIC HEELS. I could do sprints in mine.
I think its more about the quality, I'd say good quality ones are real comfortable while cheap ones may really be just for a photo.

Bert I’m a stripper too my guy, been in the industry for 5-6 years at this point. That’s kinda why I commented on stuff I know about working in the industry and enlightening others. Sure we can take breaks whenever we literally want and for however long until we get called to stage, but when you get a busy ass Saturday there’s like no stopping to make all that money. Lmao.

When I first had issues with my lower leg muscles this is what happened to me - like her Mom my ankles did that and then afterwards or now I can no longer wear high heels at all. So sad. I never successfully wore heels that high. I used to successfully wear 4 inch high heel pointed toe pump shoes with a skinny heel. So relieved her Mom is okay. I so miss being able to wear high heels or even can I say walk, even in flat shoes, (not very far) now. I really admire anyone who can walk in high heels and those shoes are so high! Thank you, Kathy

Here is a tip for the clear shoes that were hurting your foot. Take a blow dryer and warm up the inside of the plastic. It stretches the plastic and makes it flexible to better fit your foot then when it dries it dries back to the norm texture and thickness and supports your foot better. :)
