Hi, great video as always.🙂 Could you please make a best antenna for LTE networks in India. I'm implemented some of your ideas on my cell router with great success☺ Searching for the best one.👍 Thanks.
I have a question not exactly related to this antenna but a general wifi question. Why does wifi in Linux OSes disconnect seemingly randomly and not reconmect automatically? No one seems to know why both from software or hardware perspectives.
@Jeffrey Wolsieffer I had the idea that maybe it is programmed obsolescense by the router manufacturer. The other possibility I heard of is that it could be unsigned drivers in Linux that could appear as suspicious to a firewall somewhere. Interference could also be another reason since there are many devices including cell towers in the area (I am in NYC). If it were only interference I think that maybe a directional antenna could minimize that problem but it did not seem to. Thanks for your opinion.
@@ruakij6452 it is hard for me to imagine why driver problems can not be fixed in Linux. I know many companies other than Intel do not officially support Linux OSes. Non-Intel wifi cards seem to have more problems and some Intel cards seem to be less problematic than others.
@Jeffrey Wolsieffer Latest Linux update had a firmware update and in the changelog, they mentioned addressing firmware crashes on multiple chips including Intel and Atheros chips. I really hope that they have it figured out.

@@andrewmcneil Thanks for the reply love your work. do you have any recommendation's for supplies to try your antennas. Really like to try the Bi Quad in this video. Thanks in advance for any help.
It would be instructive if you grounded the back plane via screws and wire, and then show the gain improvement on screen that you mentioned.
Hello Neal, can you please do a video about Fractal Antennas? Thank you!

Great video, just getting into antennae, what site/ forum do you recommend for learning/ building them? Thanks 👍☘️❤️

you're already on it ;)

As others have said, would you mind grounding it to show us the real world difference.

@@andrewmcneil thank you.
I agree with trueblue2k2 ground the back plane and compare the gain and SWR.

@Jeffrey Wolsieffer I have always had wifi problems since using Linux.
@Jeffrey Wolsieffer I will give that a try. Thanks!

Really fun find you got there!
Would it have performed better if that had an actual panel (patch) antenna inside? (Suggesting the same compact apparent outer measurements)
Great video Bro.
Glad you enjoyed

There is also a 4 Biquad Version from WIMo
Just need to get hold of one for a knock down price 👍
could be a cost saving at scale to taper the pcb
